Gold reaches Rs 45,650 per tola
The prices of gold hit a new record of Rs 45,650 per tola in local markets on weekend. According to Sindh Gold Association, the prices of gold surged by Rs 250 per tola on Saturday while 10-gram gold up by Rs 214 to close at Rs 39,128. The gold prices also showed an upward trend in international markets and crossed $1421 per ounce. The prices of silver in local market reached Rs 995 per tola.
Gold, Silver and Crude Oil prices plummet internationally
After a continuous increase for so many days, international gold, silver and crude oil prices have come down.
A two percent decrease was witnessed in the price of crude oil in international market at the end of last business week whereas gold prices plummeted by 1 percent along with a decrease of 1.6 percent in the silver prices.
Crude oil prices ended at 81.25 dollars at the business weekend in New York Market, after a decrease of 1.44 cents.
Per ounce gold prices reduced by 5.60 dollars to reach 1372 dollars whereas the Silver prices decreased by 15 cents to reach 24.69 dollars.

Gold price witnesses bullish trend
Gold price witnessed bullish trend in local and local and international gold markets on Wednesday. According to Sindh Sarafa Association, gold prices increased to Rs 40,275 per tola, up by Rs 110 whereas the price of 10 grams increased to Rs 34,521, up by Rs 94. In the international market, gold price increased to $1269 per ounce, up by $4. Gold prices have been increased more than Rs. 500 within two days in local gold markets.
Gold hits record high
The trend of increase in gold prices continued in local and international markets as gold traded at record high of above Rs 40,000 per tola in Pakistan on Tuesday.
Gold prices surged to Rs 40,165 per tola, up Rs 415 whereas price of 10 grams increased to Rs 34,437, up Rs 356 in local markets including Karachi. In international markets, gold price increased by $15 per ounce to reach $1,245. The continuous decline of dollar value is causing surge in gold buying and the prices are increasing.
Gold price gains by Rs 450 per tola
Gold price witnessed bearish trend in local and international markets on Wednesday.
Gold prices increased to Rs 39,200 per tola, up by Rs 450 whereas the price of 10 grams increased to Rs 33,600, up by Rs 386.
In the international market, gold price increased to $1236 per ounce, up by $18.5.According to Sindh Sarafa Association president Haji Haroon Chand, increase in international gold prices caused increase in local gold prices.
Slight Decrease in Gold Prices
Slight Decrease in Gold Prices, Slight decrease in gold prices was recorded in local and international markets on Saturday.
Gold prices fell to Rs 35,800 per tola, down Rs 50 whereas price of 10 grams lowered to Rs 30,685, down Rs 43 in the local markets including Karachi. In international markets, gold price lowered to $1094, down $1 per ounce.
