Gold, silver hit new record high
According to Sindh Sarafa Association president Haji Haroon Chand, 10-gram gold price increased to Rs 40,542, up by Rs 342, while gold’s per tola price increased by Rs 400 to close at Rs 37,300.
Silver price reached Rs 14,070 per tola on Wednesday. This is the highest price of gold and silver in history.
Abdullah Hussain Haroon decides to quit ambassadorship
Pakistans permanent ambassador to UN Abdullah Hussain Haroon has decided to quit ambassadorship and return to Pakistan.
In the honour of Abdullah Hussain Haroon, a farewell gathering was also organised in New York. Six years earlier, Abdullah Hussain Haroon was given an extension of one year. Now he has decided to return to Pakistan and he will reach here in two to three days. Hussain Haroon says that he will stay in his country and help the nation.

MUMBAI: ICC CEO Haroon Lorgat, praising Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) recent measures, said that guidelines set by the cricket world governing body are being implemented.
In an interview on a foreign website today, Lorgat said that PCB has promised no leniency to players proved guilty of corruption.
“The PCB has showed that it is serious in removing corruption,” he said.
On Friday, the PCB constituted a seven-member committee to remove corruption from the game in line with guidelines set by ICC. SAMAA
Gold price gains by Rs 450 per tola
Gold price witnessed bearish trend in local and international markets on Wednesday.
Gold prices increased to Rs 39,200 per tola, up by Rs 450 whereas the price of 10 grams increased to Rs 33,600, up by Rs 386.
In the international market, gold price increased to $1236 per ounce, up by $18.5.According to Sindh Sarafa Association president Haji Haroon Chand, increase in international gold prices caused increase in local gold prices.
ANP-Hazarewal feud led to Karachi killings: Haroon
KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader and Sindh Minister for Information Technology Raza Haroon Thursday said the Karachi incidents appear to be a result of dispute between Awami National Party (ANP) and the activists of Hazara movement.
Talking to Geo News here at Karachi Press Club, the MQM leader urged both sides to observe restrain.
He said his party adopted a stand that ‘Hazarewal are also the party in the fresh target killing incidents of Karachi’ and therefore they should also participate in the co-coordination committee’s meeting of Sindh’s coalition parties.
Raza Haroon stressed that all the issues should be resolved at the table and not through violence.
MQM boycotts meeting at CM House
