Erica Paige Blasberg (July 14, 1984 – May 9, 2010) was an American golfer who played on the LPGA Tour.
Blasberg was born in Orange, California and raised in Corona, California. She attended Corona High School where she played on the boys’ golf team.
Blasberg’s body was found at her Henderson, Nevada home on the afternoon of May 9, 2010, according to local police. The six-year tour player was 25 years old. No cause of death was disclosed and an investigation is ongoing. In an interview reported in the Riverside County Press Enterprise on May 10, Blasberg’s father, Mel Blasberg, was quoted saying, ““At first glance it looks like she might have taken her own life, but at second glance, something is very, very strange about it. We’re waiting for the police to make an investigation.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Jake Shields defended his middleweight title by taking an unanimous decision over former Olympic wrestler Dan Henderson in a Strikeforce mixed martial arts fight on Saturday night.
Henderson started strong, knocking Shields down twice in the opening round.
“I was hit hard and disoriented,” Shields said. “That’s probably the hardest I’ve ever been hit.”
But Shields (21-4-1) dominated the other four rounds, keeping the former Greco-Roman wrestler on the canvas for much of the time.
“He covered well on top and he just stayed there,” Henderson said.
“King Mo” Lawal also won an unanimous decision against Dutch fighter Gegard Mousasi in a light heavyweight title fight. Lawal used his wrestling skills to keep the defending champion Mousasi on the canvas for much of the final three rounds.
Challenger Gilbert “El Nino” Melendez (18-2) retained his Strikeforce world lightweight championship, defeating Japans Shinya Aoki (23-5) in a unanimous decision.

EJ Henderson Injury latest updates :- E.J. Henderson broke his leg against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday in a brutal injury that will apparently sideline him for the season while dealing a serious blow to the Vikings’ defensive unit.
Henderson fractured his femur while trying to tackle Tim Hightower late in the fourth quarter – his leg twisting violently as he went down. He was taken off the field on a motorized cart after doctors spent several minutes attending to the star linebacker. His brother and teammate, Erin, held Henderson’s hand as they were driven to the locker room.

WEC 43 will be featuring Donald Cerrone vs Ben Henderson for the WEC interim lightweight Championship. The main event was expected to be WEC Lightweight Championship bout between Jamie Varner and challenger Donald Cerrone. However, Varner was deemed medically unable to return to competition. So Cerrone will be facing Henderson for the WEC interim lightweight title.
