Arjun Rampal no longer part of Don 2
Farhan Akhtar’s film Don, which released in 2006, proved to be a turning point in Arjun Rampal’s career. Post Don, Arjun bagged a series of big films such as Om Shanti Om, Rock On etc. and his character of Jasjeet in Don is still remembered by one and all.
However, there is sad news for all Arjun Rampal fans as the actor wouldn’t be seen in the eagerly awaited sequel Don 2. Although the buzz is that there were some creative differences between Farhan and Arjun over his character in the sequel, no one knows the real reason as to why Arjun has decided to walk out of the project.
Confirming the same, Arjun tweeted last night, “Hey Guys, Yes it is true won’t be part of Don 2. Wish the team all the success. I am sure it will be a super film.”
It will now be interesting to see which actor replaces Arjun and gets the chance to play Jasjeet in Don 2.
AJK crisis to end soon, says Haider
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider said Tuesday solution of the ongoing judicial crisis lies only in constitution, not in politics. But added the crisis would end soon.
Addressing a news conference in the federal capital, Haider dispelled the impression that there was any rift within the Muslim Conference and said he was not against AJK President or party’s head.
The constitutional matters have nothing to do with the politics, he underlined.
Haider complained that he would lodge a formal complaint to Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani against the state-run television, which he said was involved in his character assassination.

The late, great actor James Mitchell passed away earlier this year – and now All My Children is paying tribute to him with the passing of his character, Palmer Cortlandt. James played Palmer from 1979 until his death. Palmer was a powerful, charismatic, manipulative titan of industry who touched everyone’s lives (mostly through plotting against him). Put simply, Palmer was legendary.
Returning for his memorial are ex-wife Daisy (played by Gillian Spencer) and long-suffering daughter, Nina (played by Taylor Miller), who join the current cast in remembering the life of Palmer Cortlandt (and James Mitchell’s masterful portrayal). We here at SOAPnet.com decided to look back on Palmer’s amazing (and slightly criminal) life. So take the journey with us in our Palmer Cortlandt R.I.P. slideshow.

MUMBAI: He may be known for being reserved. His interactions might be limited to a select few, but this does not bother SRK in the least.
The superstar of Bollywood has vehemently come out in the open against people who dub him anti-social. In a recent interview, King Khan admitted that he loves to be on his own but this should not be misinterpreted.
SRK, who is all set to roll out his biggest film till date; MY NAME IS KHAN (MNIK), is gung-ho about his character Rizwan Khan in the film. SRK feels that playing Rizwan was one of the big challenges and he enjoyed every bit of it.
According to SRK, MNIK, is not a serious subject, but something that will have its lighter moments. So, to call MNIK a film based on terrorism will be a gross mistake. The film also assumes significance since we will get to see SRK pair up with Kajol after ages.
