Inter-Milan beat defending champions Barcelona
SAN SIRO: Inter Milan came from behind to beat holders Barcelona 3-1 in Italy and take control of their European Champions League football semi-final.
Barca went ahead after 19 minutes through a Pedro goal, before Wesley Sneijders levelled on 30 minutes.
Maicon put the homeside ahead just after the break before Diego Milito sealed the tie on the hour.
The result gives Barca a mountain to climb in the second leg in Catalonia next week as they seek to become the first team since AC Milan in 1990 to defend their European Cup trophy.
Bayern Munich and Lyon meet in their semi-final first leg match tomorrow.
