First, he said, in what was seen as a gesture of defiance, that his tour of Andhra Pradesh would continue. Now, Jagan Mohan Reddy says his party has sanctioned the controversial “odarpu yatra.”
Reddy, son of former Andhra chief minister YSR Reddy, met with senior Congress leader Veerappa Moily in Delhi on Tuesday morning. Reddy claims that Moily expressed “appreciation” for his tour and permitted the tour to resume. Congress sources say the permission comes with some basic guidelines, including staying away from the politically-sensitive Telangana region.
The Congress has been worried about the impact of the tour in the fraught atmosphere of Telangana, where the demand for a separate state repeatedly leads to violent demonstrations. Jagan Mohan has expressed his opposition to the creation of a new state.
Last week, as he arrived at the Warangal district, pro-Telangana campaigners clashed with the police as they expressed their opposition to Jagan’s arrival.
The Congress had asked Jagan Mohan to cancel his tour. He was summoned to Delhi on Monday to explain his position.
Jagan’s defence: that he “is not conducting this tour as a politician”, and that his heart “is free of any guilt’. The MP expressed his hope for a meeting with Sonia Gandhi -a meeting that did not 
materialize, in what some say was a sign of the party’s disapproval of his stance. Jagan Mohan, however, told reporters, “I have huge respect for Sonia Gandhi. Please do not turn this into a stand-off between the party and me.”
Jagan says that after his father died in a helicopter crash in September, he promised to visit families whose members died or killed themselves reportedly out of grief over YSR’s loss.

“Leave my family, leave people’s families alone…When it was Bill Clinton, you don’t go after Chelsea Clinton. You don’t talk about the Bush kids. Now, the minute they get into politics, that’s a different story. You leave the families alone.”
That was Glenn Beck talking with Sarah Palin, talking about how a reporter was getting to close to the Palin family at their Alaska home. Beck stood up for Palin, and said that a pundit should leave the families out of it.
Shortly after, Beck went after President Obama’s daughter, 11 year old Malia Obama.
On Beck’s radio show, not only did he insult Malia, but he mocked her too.

BECK: (imitating Malia) Daddy? Daddy? Daddy, did you plug the hole yet? Daddy?
BECK: (imitating Malia) Why do you hate black people so much?
BECK: “Did you plug the hole yet, daddy?” Is that’s their — that’s the level of their education, that they’re coming to — they’re coming to daddy and saying ‘Daddy, did you plug the hole yet?’ ” Plug the hole!
BECK (imitating Malia) Why, why, why, why, do you still let the polar bears die? Daddy, why do you still let Sarah Palin destroy the environment? Why are — Daddy, why don’t you just put her in some sort of a camp?
Beck has since apologized for his remarks about Malia. To Beck’s credit, he did own up to his hypocrisy, saying “the children of public figures should be left on the sidelines. It was a stupid mistake and I apologize–and as a dad I should have known better.

Taylor Momsen Did Not Write This Headline
Don’t know who Taylor Momsen is? Neither do I, beyond that she is the mean one on “Gossip Girl.” But Facebook knows her well, Twitter loves her, and she and Google have been hooking up, like, forever.
One more fact about Ms. Momsen: she has nothing to do with this column, let alone the headline. But her very name is a prized key word online — just the thing to push my column to the top of Google rankings.
Headlines in newspapers and magazines were once written with readers in mind, to be clever or catchy or evocative. Now headlines are just there to get the search engines to notice. In that context, “Jon Stewart Slams Glenn Beck” is the beau ideal of great headline writing. And both Twitter and Facebook have become republishers, with readers on the hunt for links with nice, tidy headlines crammed full of hot names to share with their respective audiences.
Keep in mind that all of the things that make headlines meaningful in print — photographs, placement and context — are nowhere in sight on the Web. Headlines have become, as Gabriel Snyder, the recently appointed executive editor of Newsweek.com, “naked little creatures that have to go out into the world to stand and fight on their own.”
Some of them are a little more naked than others.
“Taylor Momsen Goes Pantsless, Curses on Morning Television” suggested a headline on The Huffington Post’s “most popular” feature on Friday. She didn’t actually appear bottomless, but that’s part of the trick of writing digitally snappy headlines. It seems almost tasteful next to an MSN take: “Taylor Momsen Vomits On-Stage, Wants to Be Kurt Cobain.”
The Huffington Post knows its way around search engine optimization, or S.E.O. as it’s known. A story about whether the president would play golf with Rush Limbaugh was headlined: “Obama Rejects Rush Limbaugh Golf Match: Rush ‘Can Play With Himself.’ ” It’s digital nirvana: two highly searched proper nouns followed by a smutty entendre, a headline that both the red and the blue may be compelled to click, and the readers of the site can have a laugh while the headline delivers great visibility out on the Web.
The Huffington Post sometimes tests two different headlines in real time to see which the audience is responding to. (“How to Reduce Your Oil Footprint” did better than “How to Say No to Big Oil and Reduce Your Oil Footprint.” Go figure.) The site also uses its Twitter account to solicit reader suggestions on headlines. Arianna Huffington, editor in chief and a founder of the site, rejects any notion that it is dumbing down in search of eyeballs.

The actor is having a real estate liquidation sale and selling properties he owns across the world. In addition, Nicolas Cage is suing a business manager that allegedly sent him “down a path toward financial ruin for a minimum of $20 million.
The business manager that Nicolas Cage is suing is Samuel J. Levin and his firm Levin & Co. Management, Inc. Nicolas Cage claims that Levin gave him bad advice and mismanaged his funds.
Levin was Cage’s business manager from 2001 to 2008, and has collected millions of dollars in management fees from the former wealthy actor. Cage put his trust in Levin, and claims he didn’t know what kind of trouble he was in until he hired new management.
According to the Huffington Post, Levin is a Certified Public Accountant in California and in his 25 years of practice has never been subject to any disciplinary actions. Therefore, Nicolas Cage had no reason not to trust Levin.
What can you do to keep yourself out of a situation such as that of Nicolas Cage? For starters, you should always take an active role in managing your finances. Of course, hiring a business manager or financial consultant is a great idea for wealthy individuals. However, letting someone just ‘handle’ everything you do could have severe consequences, as the actor has seen. Had Nicolas Cage kept up with everything himself, he may have found out he was in trouble before it was too late.more info
