LAHORE: Zahid Bukhari, lawyer of Hussain Haqqani in the memo case, said on Thursday that Mansoor Ijaz did not come to Pakistan as he had no true evidence, TrendPK reported.
While talking with media at the Lahore High Court, he said that he could not say anything about Haqqani’s stay at the Prime Minister House.
Bukhari refused to speak on the issue of Ijaz’s name to be included in ECL. TrendPK
Rehman Malik telephones Jamil Fakhri, condolences from PM
Federal Minister for Interior Rehman Malik telephoned actor Jamil Fakhri and condoled upon murder of his son from Prim Minister.
The Federal Minister told the legend actor that US police is investigating into Ali Ayyaz Fakhris murder case and soon they will give a date on which the dead body of Ayyaz Fakhri will be sent back to Pakistan. He also told that Pakistani ambassador in US Hussain Haqqani has been directed to present a report in 24 hours. Rehman Malik showed full cooperation from government in sending Jamil Fakhri to US.

The Pakistan Embassy in the US has confirmed the murder of Jameel Fakhri son Ayaz Fakhri, who went missing in the US some 22 months ago, trendpk.Com reported on Tuesday.
Talking to trendpk.Com at his residence, Jameel said that Hussain Haqqani, Pakistans envoy to the US, had phone called him from Pakistani embassy in United States to confirm his sons murder. It is pertinent to mention here that Ayaz Fakhri had been missing for last 22 months in US.

Pakistans ambassador to the US, Hussain Haqqani said that US has been successful against Al-Qaeda and Taliban in war on terror just because of Pakistan.
Talking in an interview with CNN, Hussain Haqqani said that NATO and US have not exchanged intelligence information regarding Osama with Pakistan in many years. If this exchange of information takes place, then it could help in finding Osama. He also said that if anybody thinks that Pakistan or any other country deliberately lets Osama take refuge, then that is a misconception.

Haqqani See link in Drone raids, Europe Terror Plot

Pakistan’s envoy in Washington Hussain Haqqani believes that there is a link between recent drone attacks and possible terror plot in Europe.
In an interview with the British broadcaster on Wednesday, he said the US and Pakistan are working jointly to foil the designs of terrorists.
Western security officials have confirmed that a campaign of American missile strikes by unmanned drones in Pakistan is an attempt to disrupt a plot to attack Europe.
On Monday German nationals were killed in a predator raid.

WASHINGTON: Pakistan’s ambassador to Washington, Hussain Haqqani, believes that there is a link between drone attacks and the possible terror plot in Europe.
In an interview with the BBC on Wednesday, he said the US and Pakistan are working together to try and foil any terror attacks.
Western security officials have confirmed that the campaign of American missile strikes by unmanned drones in Pakistan is an attempt to disrupt a plot to attack Europe.
On Monday, four German nationals were killed by one of the drones. Arrests were made in France on Tuesday which may also be linked to the plot. SAMAA
NATO supply route be opened once confident of security: Haqqani
Pakistans envoy to US, Hussain Haqqani has said that NATO supply route will be reopened as soon as the security situation gets better.
In an interview to a news channel in Washington, Haqqani said that Pakistan Army has vanished the existence of extremist elements in Swat and Waziristan after conducting successful operations. He said Pakistan backs stability in Afghanistan as well as conciliatory efforts for peace in the country. He also said that Pakistan wants resolution of all the disputes, including Kashmir, with India.
PM demands NRO beneficiaries’ list
Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani has directed the establishment division to submit the list of NRO beneficiaries within 02 days . Sources say that in future, these beneficiaries would not be appointed on any government post. It is also probable that the incumbent beneficiaries may be removed from their posts.
NRO beneficiaries’ list consists of 248 personalitiespoliticians and bureaucrats including Rehman Malik, Hussain Haqqani and UK High Commissioner Wajid Shamsul Hassan. National Accountability Bureau has already issued orders to re-open accountability cases after abolition of the NRO. Names of all NRO beneficiaries except president Zardari have already been included in Exit Control List.
