The statement came after the Jerusalem municipality’s recent approval for the construction of 930 new housing units in the Israeli settlement Har Homa beyond the Green Line.
The decision attests to that the Zionist mentality is to uproot the indigenous people, especially those in Jerusalem, Masri said in comments on Saturday.
Masri said that Israel is ‘’swallowing up’’ the city in stages with settlement and displacement of its residents, starting with Palestinian politicians and figures, but not ending with the removal of Jerusalem’s landmarks and names and attempts to erase the Muslim and Christian presence in the city so that the Jewish character prevails.
Masri further said he rejected Israel’s settlement policies in the West Bank and Jerusalem, and stressed that the continued ‘’intrusion’’ called for releasing the West Bank resistance forces and ending the Palestinian Authority’s security coordination with Israel and uniting in the face of the large-scale settlement plan.
He also called for resistance forces in the West Bank to aim strikes at Israel, saying that the calm is what has given the Israelis the courage to target the land.

Playing a game called ‘sack tapping’ proved so dangerous for a teen boy that it led him to undergo an emergency surgery, according to online media reports. ‘Sack tapping’ or “ball tapping,” as it is called, is the act of intentionally hitting or kicking a male in the genitals.
The game of “sack tapping” is sweeping through schools across the country. In the game, which has become a popular prank among school children, a boy will punch his opponent in the testicles to inflict discomfort or pain.
The impact of “sack tapping” can result not just in excruciating physical and emotional pain for the victim, but in emergency surgery with a lifelong negative effect.
The dangerous “Sack tapping” game
“Sack tapping” proved dangerous for the 14-year-old David Gibbons of Crosby, Minnesota, causing him more than just a few moments of excruciating pain.
The teenaged boy had to have his right testicle amputated after being punched in the groin by another student at Crosby Ironton High School.
According to New York Daily News, after being punched in the groin David’s pain was so intense that he woke up his mother at 1 a.m., who rushed him to the hospital, where he had his right testicle surgically removed.

Need to stop the practice
“One o’clock in the morning he woke me up and told me he was in excruciating pain,” NBC News quoted Christy Gibbons, David’s mom, as saying, adding that she immediately took him to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Brainerd, where he had emergency surgery to remove his one testicle.
“This may be called a game, but it’s not a game. It’s dangerous and it needs to stop,” said Christy.
She wants other parents to be educated about this dangerous practice, which has become increasingly common nowadays, especially among school children.
She added: “I’ve seen the pain he was in. I’ve seen what he went through every day, and it just breaks my heart and I don’t want any other child to have to go through this.”
David to live with just one testicle
Nonetheless, doctors have assured David that even though he now has just one testicle, he should still be able to father children in future, reports the Daily.
After the incidence, David’s parents have pulled him out of that high school and now plan to move to a different school district, according to the Daily report.
It’s also being reported by some tabloids that Gibbons are discussing with a police county on whether criminal charges can be filed against the boy responsible for their son’s injury.
David’s previous school is reportedly investigating the incident.
Surge in “sack tapping” cases
Meanwhile, Dr. Scott Wheeler, a pediatric urologist in Minnesota, has expressed his concern over the practice of “sack tapping,” saying the dangerous fad has gotten out of hand, according to ABC News.
“For some reason, is popular,” Wheeler says. “It’s not just bullies, it’s kids doing it to their friends. It’s rare that bullies target the testicles, they just beat up people.”sorce by .12news.us/

The Morgan Stanley building is seen in New York, Tuesday, April 20, 2010. Morgan Stanley said Wednesday, April 20, its first-quarter profit of $1.41 billion on strong results from its trading operations. The investment bank easily topped analysts’ expectations.
NEW YORK—Morgan Stanley said Wednesday its first-quarter profit surged to $1.41 billion on strong results from its trading operations. The investment bank easily topped analysts’ expectations.
Morgan Stanley said its earnings, which compare with a loss of $578 million a year ago, also came on a jump in its retail brokerage business. That’s a sign that individual investors might be getting more comfortable with returning to the stock market.
The investment bank, which was criticized last year for being too conservative as markets recovered, said it had $4.1 billion in sales and trading revenue, almost triple the $1.4 billion of a year earlier. Other banks with large trading operations, including JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Goldman Sachs Group Inc., also used trading profits to beat earnings’ forecasts.
The company’s stock rose $1.37, or 4.5 percent, to $31.82 in midday trading.
Banks have been profiting from continuing low interest rates that allow them to borrow money cheaply and put it into higher-yielding investments such as stocks.
Ruth Porat, the bank’s chief financial officer, said during a conference call with analysts that Morgan Stanley expects interest rates to remain low, which will help drive business in the coming quarters.

Pakistan’s Nuclear Weapons Are in Safe Hands: FO
LAHORE, Pakistan: Pakistan’s Nuclear Weapons Are in Safe Hands: FO, US Ambassador to Pakistan Anne Patterson has termed the allegations about the security of Pakistan’s nuclear arsenal as completely false. She said the US has not been negotiating any understandings with the Pakistani military over the nuclear issue.
On the other hand, Abdul Basit reiterates that Islamabad does not require and will not allow any foreign assistance in making the nuclear assets secure. Pakistan has strongly dismissed US newspaper’s article over the safety of Pakistan’s nuclear assets. The foreign office termed the assertions made in the article utterly misleading and totally baseless.
Expressing strong disapproval, the spokesman Abdul Basit alleged that the author of the article was biased against Pakistan. The spokesman said the article quoted unverifiable sources and it was aimed at tarnishing the image of Pakistan. The Spokesman emphasised that Pakistan’s strategic assets were completely safe and secure. Islamabad has always stood by the assertion that the indigenous multi-layered controls were as foolproof and effective as in any other nuclear weapons state.
In a statement, Patterson said Washington has no intention to seize Pakistani nuclear weapons or material. She said Pakistan is a key ally in the common effort to fight extremists and foster regional security. Patterson vowed to cooperate on a wide range of security assistance initiatives, including significant efforts focused on strengthening counter insurgency capacities.
