North China expressway accident kills 32

SHENYANG: At least 32 people are dead after a coach and truck collided early Sunday on an expressway in Fuxin City, northeast China”s Liaoning Province.
A spokesman with the Liaoning Public Security Bureau said the accident happened at 3 a.m. when the truck, with an Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region registration, turned the wrong way coming out of a service area.
The two vehicles collided head on and began burning.
Three people on the truck and 28 passengers on the bus died at the scene, he said.
Zhang Zhijing, deputy director of the Zhangwu County People”s Hospital, said the hospital had received 25 injured people from the accident. One of four severely injured people had died.
The coach, with a Tianjin Municipality registration, had 53 people on board. It was en route from Tianjin to Harbin, capital of the northeastern Heilongjiang Province.
Maintenance work was being carried out on the section of the four-lane expressway linking Tieling and Chaoyang cities in Liaoning where the accident happened, according to the local transport authority.
The expressway was cleared and traffic resumed shortly after the crash.
Chen Zhenggao, governor of Liaoning, is on the way to the accident site to oversee the rescue work.

4 Terrorists Nabbed in Mianwali
Pakistan News: Police have arrested four terrorists and seized as many jackets and heavy amount of explosives from their possession in Mianwali.
Police nabbed a suspect from Gulberg Chowk namely Muhammad Jamil and recovered important documents, videos of suicide bombing from him and held his accomplice Egal Khan on his pointation.
On their pointation, the police apprehended two other accused identified as Aman Ullah Hattar and Imran Pathan from Kacha Gujrat area of Mianwali.
Explosive material, suicide vests, CDs, cell phones, sensitive documents, maps and ball barring were also recovered from their possession.
Police said that the accused were planning to carry out a terrorist attack during Muharram-ul-Harram.

8 killed in Jhang Road Accident
JHANG, Pakistan News : At least eight persons have been killed and nine others injured when a passenger van met a head-on collision with a truck at Garh Morh in Jhang on Thursday morning.
According to sources, the rescue efforts are underway; meanwhile, the dead bodies and wounded passengers are being hurried to hospital for medical attainment.
Police sources said the accident was caused owing to over speeding, fearing more deaths as three among injured people were declared critical in condition.

Karachi, Pakistan News :- A resolution has been passed declaring suicide attacks as ‘Haram’ and urging people to avoid offering prayers behind Ulema who support suicide attacks in the Ulema Mashaikh Conference organized by Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Tuesday.

Blast at a wedding procession in Khyber Agency , 29 injured
As many as 29 people got injured due to hand grenade blasts at a wedding procession here in Jamrud division of Khyber Agency.
According to the sources, unidentified persons attacked the house of Kamal at midnight with hand grenades, where a music function of the wedding was ongoing. The injured people were immediately shifted to Hayatabad Medical Complex, where 3 of them were stated to be in critical condition. Security forces initiated a search operation after the incident but no arrests have been reported so far.

CAIRO: At least 25 people were killed and 55 others hurt in a collision between two passenger trains on Saturday in Giza southwest of the Egyptian capital, witnesses and police said.
“The total has risen to 25 dead and 55 injured and may become worse,” a police official at the scene told media.
A security services official said: “The trains were travelling on the same track. One ran into the other as they headed towards Upper Egypt.”
Witnesses initially gave a death toll of 15 and estimated the number of injured people and 24.
The crash took place in Al-Ayyat area of Giza, 40 kilometres (25 miles) from Cairo, when one train stopped unexpectedly and another one also heading south from the capital ploughed into it from behind, the security official said.
The first train, heading to Sayum, 100 km (65 miles) south of Cairo made an unscheduled halt but the second, on a southbound journey from Cairo towards Assiyut, 400 km (250 miles) from the capital travelled onwards at normal speed until it struck the back of the stationary train, the official said.

Road Mishap In Blochistan 30 Critical Injured
PAKISTAN, KARACHI: A bus bound to Karachi from Balochintan met an accident on National Highway here, which left more than 30 people injured on Tuesday morning, Geo news reported.
According to hospital sources, the bus skidded off the road due to over speed as the driver was trying to overtake a truck ahead of it.
Hospital sources said the injured people hail from Sindh who were workers and went there for menial jobs.
Six among thirty injured people are said to be critical in conditions, hospital sources said.
