Broad and Katich Injury Make It 1-1 For England and Australia
England’s fast bowler S Broad is ruled out of Ashes series after he was reported injured. The ECB chief medical officer, Nick Peirce has confirmed the news that fast bowler is out of Ashes. He was having some Knee problem on the 4th day of the 2nd test match.
Broad was looking very disappointed after being ruled out. Torn abdominal muscle was the declared reason of his injury. He said that he was tying to bowl bouncers and it takes a lot of effort. Australia batsman Simon Katich also got injured. He is also ruled out of Ashes series. The injury of broad and Katich made it 1-1.
There are three test matches still left in the series and both players are disappointed after their injuries. 1st test match was draw and the 2nd test match is won by England. Katich said that he is hopeful that he will come back to the game again after getting full fitness.
Australian captain R Ponting said that without doubt he is a great opening batsman and getting such type of batsman injured during the series is a big loss. Katich also avoid the runner as he don’t want to depend on other player. He said when you out there to bat you should play on your own.

LAHORE: Four people of a family have been killed when two men clashed with their relative on collecting charity for a mosque Sunday.
Police have nabbed five men after the tragedy.
According to the details, Tanveer and Rasheed, in Harbans Pura went to the house of their relative collecting the fund for a mosque but the clash erupted after exchanging the words. Two people died on the spot and two others wounded when firing was started. Both injured succumbed to their injuries in the hospital.

Speedy bus kills boy in Faisalabad
A speedy bus crushed a student, killing him in Faisalabad on Wednesday. After the incident, angry people set the bus ablaze.
According to police, 17-year-old Zeeshan was crossing the road when bus collided with him. Rescue 1122 shifted in Allied Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Bus driver and other staff fled the scene. After the incident, angry students set the bus on fire.

In the area of Islampura, Lahore, a speeding car hit 2 motorbike riders on the road, killing all both of them.
According to police, Kashif Gujjar and Mushahid who were residents of Sheikhupura, used to work as embroiders on Bund Road. On Saturday night, both of them were going back on motorbike from factory when a speeding car hit them on Chohan road due to which both of them got seriously injured; where as the car driver managed to flee from the scene. The injured were being shifted to Services Hospital with the help of Rescue 1122 when Kashif succumbed to his injuries on the way, while Mushahid expired after reaching the hospital. After investigations, police returned the dead bodies to their relatives.

D.I.KHAN: A Watan Card seeker flood victim died of severe police torture, Trend Pk reported.
According to details, a flood victim Rab Nawaz, residing in Basti Makin situated in the suburb of D.I.Khan, reached in city NADRA office on Friday to get Watan Card but instead of getting his Watan Card he turned a victim of police torture.
Rab Nawaz sustained serious injuries from the hands of police, out side the NADRA office. After first aid, he was shifted to his home where he succumbed to his injuries on the following day. Trend Pk
Mianwali: Truck-coach collide, killing 7 and injuring 40
Near Mianwali, a passenger coach collided with a truck due to which 7 people got killed and 40 others were injured.
The unfortunate coach which was en route to Mianwali from Faisalabad was carrying 50 passengers and near the area of Bandial, it collided with an oncoming truck due to which 7 people including the driver and conductor of coach were killed. Forty other passengers also got injured who were then shifted to hospitals in Quiadabad, Khushab and Mianwali. Eight critically injured were brought to Mianwali Hospital where conductor Nasarullah succumbed to his injuries.
