Dr. Conrad Murray Shares Same Jail Block as Michael Jackson’s Ex Brother-in-Law

Sometimes the world can feel super small.
Surprisingly, Dr. Conrad Murray and Michael Jackson’s former brother-in-law – James DeBarge who is Janet Jackson’s ex-husband – are in the same jail and are seeing a lot of each other these days. Both of them are being held in the L.A. County Men’s Jail which is home to almost 4,000 inmates at the time, yet they see each other daily. As a matter of fact, Dr. Conrad Murray is in a cell that is just a few feet away from James DeBarge.
James DeBarge is serving time for an assault with a deadly weapon and miscellaneous drug charges. However, since he was the lead singer in “El DeBarge” he is in the Administrative Segregation which houses famous inmates.
Murray has also been staying in Administrative Segregation since he was convicted of manslaughter in November 2011. It has been said that they run into each other quite often in the unit. The last time they saw each other was when they were both visiting with their lawyers on Monday.
According to DeBarge’s lawyer, Spencer Vodnoy, DeBarge is furious that he has to be so close to Murray. He feels that even though Janet and him were married briefly he still thinks of Michael as a brother.

Oh-ohh, here they come…Hall & Oates, the hugely influential pop-rock/soul duo whose irrepressibly infectious melodies catapulted them to superstardom and more than 60 million albums sold over the past four decades, will fill the Pompano Beach Amphitheatre Sunday with smooth harmonies and sweet memories. After meeting at Temple University in the ’60s, Daryl Hall and John Oates soaked up the Philly soul sound to create timeless hits including “Sara Smile”, “She’s Gone”, “Rich Girl”, “Kiss on My List”, “Maneater”, “Private Eyes”, “Out of Touch”, “I Can’t Go for That (No Can Do)” and “One on One”.
Although most of these classics are heard mostly on oldies or “lite FM” radio, Hall has stayed in touch with the times with his online show “Live From Daryl’s House,” a free monthly webcast he started in 2008 with an eclectic mix of performers including Smokey Robinson, The Doors’ Robby Krieger and Ray Manzarek, K.T. Tunstall, Gym Class Heroes frontman Travis McCoy and Fall Out Boy singer Patrick Stump, Plain White T’s and techno-rockers Chromeo.

Wednesday night was more about Simon Cowell relationship with Paula Abdul than about the finale of American Idol of Crystal Bowersox and Lee DeWyze.
The most delightful moment was when “Pants on the Ground” was done for us. I just love that man General Larry Platt. He belted it out for us, and then, back to Simon Cowell’s tribute. The tribute took up most of American Idol tonight, and made what should have been a 30
minute show, a two hour lesson in boredom.
However, Paula Abdul and Simon Cowell had a great time riding down memory lane with us dragging behind. Randy Jackson stood and applauded for Simon Cowell as ridiculous Ryan Seacreast told him to sit down. I’m not kidding.
Paula explained she wasn’t having fun anymore, but I have to admit, the re-runs of her fighting with Simon were funny. Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul are a wonderful team, and after tonight, I have no doubt why “American Idol” is falling pants on the ground

POISON frontman Bret Michaels performed live for the first time after a triple health crisis on tonight’s (Wednesday, May 26) “American Idol” finale. He joined talent show finalist Casey James for a rendition of the POISON classic “Every Rose Has Its Thorn”. In addition, legendary rocker Alice Cooper kicked off the finale by performing his rock anthem “School’s Out” with a stage full of schoolboys and schoolgirls. The “Idol” finalists joined Cooper, dancers and singers all dressed up in school uniforms.

They auditioned together in Chicago last summer, and they’ve become good buds in the nine months since. They’re both 24 years old and were vying to be the first Midwesterner to win the “American Idol” title. One, Ohioan Crystal Bowersox, was the odds-on favorite to win it all for most of season nine, while the other, low-key Illinois-bred Lee DeWyze, came on strong down the stretch and threatened to pull out an upset victory.
On Wednesday night (May 26), when all the hoopla, oldies acts and teary goodbyes to departing judge Simon Cowell were finally said and done, it was DeWyze who emerged victorious in an “Idol” upset for the ages.
While Bowersox hugged him and looked loose and relaxed, DeWyze seemed gripped by nerves as he awaited word from host Ryan Seacrest. When the verdict was read, the former paint-store clerk and high school dropout with a musical dream bent over and looked like he was going to be sick. He was quickly swarmed by the top 12, emerging with a smile and the outburst: “Oh my God!”

Christina Aguilera, Bret Michaels, Janet Jackson, General Larry and William Hung were the performers for the two hour long American Idol 2010 season 9 finale. Each performer was very good except for General Larry and William Hung, who were just good at being bad.
Some of the more interesting things which happened during this episode were:
* Janet Jackson debuted her extra short hair cut which surprised many of those in the audience.
* Christina Aguilera debuted a big pair of granny panties which she wore under her sheer leggings.
* General Larry and William Hung showed us that they can be successful singer even if they are terrible at it.
* and Some of the Top 12 reminded us of why they were voted off
Overall it made for an interesting and entertaining episode which ended with Lee DeWyze as the winner of American Idol 2010 season 9. YES that was another shocker to me… I really though Crystal Bowersox was going to win.

Kris Allen, last year’s winner, returns to perform his new single, The Truth, but the production crew forgets to turn off Ryan’s mike and he accidentally talks over the intro. I love the way Kris bounces when he’s not singing — no lack of energy in that guy. The Truth is a tough song to sing on the verses — it’s easy for that low part to sound flat — but he makes it work.
Ryan reminds us that this is “the end of an era” — the Simon Cowell era — and introduces a video montage that features tributes from his peers, including Paula Abdul, as well as some of his best reactions to bad contestants. “There will be many more shared memories throughout the show,” Ryan promises.
But first, Siobhan Magnus and Aaron Kelly sing How Deep Is Your Love as a duet — and their voices sound great together. Not as good, of course, as surviving Bee Gees Barry and Robin Gibb, of course — fortunately, they’re here, too. All four of them together, though? Not so much.

Lee Dewyze Won ‘American Idol’ Season 9 Tonight
well We don’t know it yet but recent reports say that Lee DeWyze was crowned as the American Idol 2010 winner. Since the reports said it well then we’ll stick to that. Simon Cowell was right in his prediction that Lee DeWyze will win the American Idol Season 9. Lee DeWyze was stunned when Ryan Seacrest announced that he won the American Idol.
The show that crowns the winner according to the viewer’s choice votes declared Lee DeWyze, the 24-year-old paint store clerk the next American Idol. Though Crystal Bowersox has remained the favorite of the judges from the beginning of the show and had also received praises from the judges on Tuesday night, it seems that Lee DeWyze was able to rule the heart of the viewers of “American Idol” this season.
DeWyze, 24, won the coveted title and will get a contract to record an album after millions of Americans cast their votes for the guitarist who likes the blues, even though the judges felt that Bowersox did better in the final presentation on Tuesday.
Considered shy and awkward at first, Lee got some kind of revelation in the last rounds and became a serious threat to Bowersox, a single mother and a rock fan.
Most people would agree to say that Lee won the competition after he sang a moving version of the classic song “Hallelujah” by Leonard Cohen in semifinals.
After the 6th break, Lee Dewyze performed a song with.the group “Chicago.” Next contestant Larry Platt came back to sing that “Pants On The Ground” song. William Hung joined in towards the end. After the 7th break, they showed another Simon video montage. Then Paula Abdul came onstage to pay a special tribute to Simon. After that, Kelly Clarkson and all the past “American Idol” winners hit the stage to sing a song to Simon. Then other past “Idol” contestants joined them to sing the song. Next, Simon went onstage to say a few words. After the break, Janet Jackson hit the stage with this year’s “American Idol” contestants to sing a song. Then she did a special solo performance. She sang, “Nothing,” and “Nasty Boys.” Afterwards,Crystal and Lee did another performance. After the final break, they finally revealed that Lee Dewyze won “American Idol” season 9. So, Lee Dewyze is your “American Idol” season 9 winner

Southwest Airlines Kevin Smith
Director Kevin Smith Kicked Off Southwest Flight for ‘Being Fat’ :- Southwest Airlines is under fire after director Kevin Smith was kicked off a recent flight for being overweight.
The “Clerks,” “Mallrats” and “Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back” director was ordered off a flight from Oakland to Burbank Saturday. The pilot reportedly said Smith was a “safety risk” because he was unable to put down the armrest.
Smith, 39, responded with a barrage of profanity-laced Twitter posts, saying he was treated worse than a terrorist.
Southwest apologized to Smith on Twitter and issued a statement on its blog, under the title, “Not So Silent Bob.” The airline said Smith had purchased two tickets, as he often does, but when Smith decided to fly earlier on standby, only one seat was available, and he was told to get off the plane after he was already seated.
The incident has prompted the National Association to Advance Fat Acceptance to call for a boycott of Southwest. The group issued a statement urging “people of size to seek out and travel airlines that do not have such discriminatory policies.”
“You (messed) with the wrong sedentary processed-foods eater!” tweeted Smith, whose next film, “Cop Out,” opens Feb. 26.
