Now 30-years-old, the Gelhausen, Germany-born actress has abandoned the curly locks and floppy hats she donned opposite her twin sister Tamera Mowry while starring on ‘Sister, Sister’ and now sports a sleek, sexy look on her CW series ‘The Game.’
Unlike other child stars, Mowry and her sister were never consumed by the troubles that have plagued many of their counterparts.
Nickelodeon Kids Choice Award-winning actress believes good parenting is the reason she and her sister weren’t tabloid staples and have continued to remain successful in this fickle industry of show business.
Now married and hoping to have kids of her own, Mowry wed actor Cory Hardict (‘He’s Just Not That Into You’/’Lincoln Heights’) on April 20, 2008 in Santa Barbara, Calif.
During our insightful conversation, Mowry talked about starting a family, spoke about the future of ‘The Game’ and shared which stage production she’d love to take a stab at.

That’s when you have to have faith and know that whatever is meant to be will happen, but in the meantime, we have to try and do whatever we can do to keep a good show on the air. That is a show that has been fighting to stay on the air and I believe that their creator or executive producer or whoever is behind the show is really, really fighting and really fought to keep it on the air and that’s what we’re doing over here. Andy Petttite would be starting the game for Yankees tonight. Alex Rodriguez is all game for a fresh thumping victory over Phillies but others like their No.3 batter Mark Teixeire and Robinson Canois are slumping.
Phillies’ ace batter Chase Utley now has five home runs to his credit and thus equals with Yankees’ Reggie Jackson who set the record in 1977. Johnny Damon of New York Yankees was all praise for this rival player for his stunning performance on the last game.
Left-hander Cliff Lee might be starting Game 7 for the Phillies. He may also use Lee for a few innings on just two days’ rest.
CC Sabathia, the No.1 of the Yankees brigade is likely to start on Game 7 Thursday and everyone is waiting for a showdown between Sabathia and Lee.

A recall of more than a half-million-pounds of ground beef was issued Friday by its producer, Fairbank Farms of Ashville, N.Y. The packages were sold under a variety of brand names, ranging from Acme Markets’ Lancaster Brand Ground Beef and Extra Lean Ground Beef to Giant Food Stores Meatloaf and Meatball Mix to Trader Joe’s Butcher Shop Fine Quality Meats Ground Beef.

Consumers are advised to look for packages with sell-by dates of Sept. 19 through Sept. 28. The number “EST. 492″ would also be inside the USDA inspection mark or on the nutrition label.
“Consumers who identify these products should return them to the point of purchase for a full refund,” said Ron Allen, Fairbank Farms CEO.
The concern is that the meat may have been tainted with a harmful strain of e. coli. Ground beef should always be cooked thoroughly – to an internal temperature of 160 degrees or more – to kill any bacteria mixed in by the grinding process.
Originally, the recall applied to eight states – Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, New York, Connecticut, Virginia, Massachusetts and North Carolina.
Because some of the food chains may have redistributed packages, Fairbank Farms has expanded the range to include all Northeastern and Mid-Atlantic states.more info

How do you protect yourself against fake Black Friday Ad Deals? First, hear the news directly from the source. Retailers post on their website teasers. They tell you even several days ahead of time hints on
a. products that will be discounted
b. percentage of discounting
c. how to effectuate the deal.
Apple is an excellent example. In 2009, days ahead of Black Friday, Apple gave you a teaser. It included the products subjected, a suggestion of the quantity of products in the deal, and even delivery information.
It read “Come back to the Apple Online Store this Friday for a special one day only Christmas shopping event. You’ll find dozens of great iPod, iPhone and Mac gift ideas, all with free delivery.”
It was all right on their website.As you can see, three things worked:
1. The notice came directly from the retailer rather than some 3rd party website.
2. The notice in fact gave a suggestion of which products might get Black Friday discounting.
3. The information was on one website and only one website – Apple’s.
“It got an email sent to me”, “this is secret information” – those lines are typical of the fake deals being posted online.
How big are the discounts? LALATE in 2008 covered Amazon.com’s Sharp Aquos 42 inch tv LCD HDTV. It was offered on Black Friday for $999.98, compared to a list of $1500, an approximate 33% saving.
So for buyers always wait to get the information from the retailer and rely on information on their website. However, prepare ahead of time. Choose yourproducts and know their normal full retail price ahead of time so that when Black Friday notices come you will be ready.
