KARACHI, Pakistan News: The funeral prayers of the martyrs of Karachi suicide attack will be offered at Nishtar Park on Tuesday as the metropolis wears a deserted look a day after the attack on a mourning procession on Youm-e-Ashur.
According to reports the death toll in the suicide blast has risen to 40, as Federal Minister of Interior Rehman Malik has constituted a joint investigation team for the Karachi bombing probe.
Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah has also announced the day of mourning today as public holiday has been declared in the province.
Interior Minister Rehman Malik in a statement said that arson incidents after the bombing indicate a planned conspiracy hatched by the enemies of the country and democracy. He appealed to the citizens to observe restraint.

President, PM Gilani Condemn Karachi Blast
ISLAMABAD, Pakistan News: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani have strongly condemned the blast at main procession of Aushra in Karachi on Monday.
The President and the Prime Minister also ordered immediate inquiry and submission of report. They also ordered for provision of immediate best medical facilities to the injured. The two leaders also appealed to the masses to remain peaceful.

20 killed, 50 Injured in Karachi Blast
KARACHI, Pakistan News : 20 killed, 50 injured in Karachi blast, At least 20 people were killed and 50 others injured in a bomb explosion at M A Jinnah road, here on Monday.
According to the initial report, explosion took place near Jama Cloth.
Victims have been taken to Jinnah, Civil and other hospitals where emergency has been imposed.
Police and rangers have cordoned off the area.
Ambulances and Rescue teams reached the site soon after the incident.
