Has Russell Brand already moved on from Katy Perry?
TrendPK.com: It’s still unclear what exactly went on with the split between Russell Brand and Katy Perry, but if rumors are to be believed, he may have already moved on.
It is being rumored that Brand has already moved on with a new woman who told a friend of hers which led to it getting back to Perry, states UsMagazine.com. However, it is rumored that she isn’t the only woman he has made time for since his split.
Brand has allegedly been keeping company with a few women and even reportedly talking poorly about his ex to them.
Brand and Perry split at the end of last year when he filed for divorce.

The Next American Idol: Jim Carrey’s Daughter?

Looks like Jim Carrey has passed the entertainment business on to his daughter based off the performance that she delivered on America Idol last night. Jane will be making it to Hollywood because the judges felt as though she has potential and Jennifer Lopez only had one issue which was that she needs to connect with the audience more.
Last night there were a lot of different performers who were trying out but if Jane is anything like her father we can imagine that she was the one who stood out the most. Fans are patiently waiting until Wednesday night so they can find out what else they have to look forward to when American Idol returns.

As we already discussed Jane Carrey is making a trip to Hollywood…Tracey Morgan is in the hospital…Katy Perry is no longer a follower of Russell Brand on Twitter…and there are still loads of people who can’t hold a tune trying out during the auditions. Asian shares higher after Bernanke speech
HONG KONG: Asian stock markets mostly rose on Monday after Wall Street strengthened on a much-anticipated speech by Federal Reserve chief Ben Bernanke at the end of last week.
Oil prices dipped meanwhile as energy demand was hit by the closure of refineries and airports as Hurricane Irene struck the US east coast.
While Bernanke offered no new stimulus proposals in his speech at a central bankers’ conference Friday, traders were pleased that he left the door open for measures further down the line.
Tokyo gained 0.54 percent by the morning break, Hong Kong rose 1.08 percent and Sydney added 1.49 percent. Seoul climbed 2.32 percent and Taipei was 1.68 percent higher.
However, Shanghai fell 2.05 percent on concerns that inflation in China is still stubbornly high.
In his speech at Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Bernanke said the Fed had a range of tools that could help the US economy, which it will review in an expanded meeting of the policy-making Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) in September.
The speech went down well on Wall Street, with the Dow rising 1.21 percent, the S&P 500 up 1.51 percent and the Nasdaq jumping 2.49 percent.
Bernanke also said that he expected second-half growth in the United States to improve after a virtually stagnant first six months.
“I’m pleased to see a sensible reaction in the market,” Christopher Macdonald, principal investment adviser at RBS Morgans in Sydney, told Dow Jones Newswires.
“Bernanke seems to have put a floor under the market by implying that if we get any bad news or further dislocation in the markets, they will put something together in their next (FOMC) meeting,” he said.
The dollar was weighed by the prospect of future monetary easing by the Fed, with the currency falling to 76.65 yen on Friday from 77.45 yen the day before.
However, it was holding firm in early Tokyo trade Monday, buying 76.73 yen.
The euro was worth $1.4480, slightly down from $1.4490 in New York late Friday. It was virtually flat at 111.10 yen.
The dollar rose to 0.8101 Swiss francs from 0.8063 francs. Along with the yen, the Swiss franc is considered another safe-haven currency and has soared during the recent market tumult, to the consternation of Swiss authorities.
On the oil market, New York’s main contract, light sweet crude for delivery in October, fell 13 cents to $85.24 a barrel.
Brent North Sea crude for October delivery sank 28 cents to $111.08.
Gold opened at $1,823.00-$1,824.00 an ounce in Hong Kong, up from Friday’s close of $1,789.00-$1,790.00. AGENCIES
Man involved in Quetta Express attack, arrested
QUETTA: Frontier Corps Balochistan arrested a man accused of attack on Quetta Express, TrendPK reported Monday.
The FC officials were quite sure that they would soon arrest the other accused involved in the attack on the train.
According to the FC spokesman, a man allegedly involved in the attack on Quetta Express near Mach yesterday, had been arrested. A motorcycle used in the attack was also recovered from his custody.
It should be mentioned here that Quetta Express left three people dead and 18 others sustained injuries. TrendPK

AMMAN: An armoured Syrian force surrounded a town north of Homs on Monday after the defection of tens of soldiers from the area, activists and residents said, in the latest operation to counter dissent within the military during a five month uprising.
At least 40 light tanks and armoured vehicles, and 20 buses full of troops and Military Intelligence, deployed at 5:30 a.m. at the highway entrance of Rastan, 20 km (12 miles) north of the city of Homs and began firing heavy machineguns at the town.
Rastan is traditionally a reservoir of recruits for the mostly Sunni rank-and-file army dominated by officers from Syria’s Alawite minority sect, the same sect as President Bashar al-Assad. AGENCIES

Justin Bieber, Eminem take top honors at Billboard Awards
TrendPK.com: Justin Bieber, Eminem, U2 and Beyonce took home the top prizes at Sunday night’s Billboard awards. Beiber and Eminem each won six official awards, while U2 earned the Touring trophy and Beyonce grabbed the Millennium Award.
Bieber “embraced” girlfriend Selena Gomez before accepting one of his awards, according to THR, prompting Billboard Awards host Ken Jeong of “The Hangover Part II” to exclaim, “Are they not the cutest couple in the universe?”
Beyonce’s Millennium award came with an all-star tribute that included First Lady Michelle Obama; Barbra Streisand; Lady Gaga; U2 frontman Bono; and Stevie Wonder.
