3 reasons why Lauren Alaina just might win “American Idol”
TrendPK.com: We’ve been predicting the finalists for nearly three months, and, as always, the future seems clear. Blue-eyed teen heartthrob Scotty McCreery from Garner, North Carolina seems like a cinch to win Season 10 of “American Idol”.
The reasons are plenty—more young southern males have won “American Idol” than any other demographic, and the number of southern male runners up is also high. Yet, history dictates that Lauren Alaina might just have a shot at winning the Season 10 title:
Reason #1: Though southern men represent the top winning demographic, southern women are a close second. Ruben Studdard, Taylor Hicks, David Cook, and Kris Allen comprise four of nine “American Idol” winners and are all from the south. Yet southern women Kelly Clarkson, Fantasia Barrino, and Carrie Underwood make up a close second; Lauren Alaina could even things up.
Reason #2: Two of the four female winners so far beat out southern male contenders in the finals. Kelly Clarkson beat fellow southerner Justin Guarini and Carrie Underwood beat Bo Bice. Neither Fantasia Barrino nor Jordin Sparks went up against a southern male in the final.
Reason #3: Underdogs sometimes do well. Scotty McCreery has sailed through the competition wholly unscathed, never having been named among the bottom two or three. Sympathy for “wild card” or underdog competitors has often seen a boost in support for contestants. If Lauren Alaina is seen as a distant second to Scotty McCreery, such an image may come to her rescue just in time.
Yet, for every reason Lauren Alaina just might be able to pull off a win, there is at least one other strike against her. For one, most “American Idol” voters are young girls whose teen hormones may dictate favor for a male contestant. And, to many, Lauren Alaina, who fared better than most, may not seem like an underdog at all.

Lee Dewyze Won ‘American Idol’ Season 9 Tonight
well We don’t know it yet but recent reports say that Lee DeWyze was crowned as the American Idol 2010 winner. Since the reports said it well then we’ll stick to that. Simon Cowell was right in his prediction that Lee DeWyze will win the American Idol Season 9. Lee DeWyze was stunned when Ryan Seacrest announced that he won the American Idol.
The show that crowns the winner according to the viewer’s choice votes declared Lee DeWyze, the 24-year-old paint store clerk the next American Idol. Though Crystal Bowersox has remained the favorite of the judges from the beginning of the show and had also received praises from the judges on Tuesday night, it seems that Lee DeWyze was able to rule the heart of the viewers of “American Idol” this season.
DeWyze, 24, won the coveted title and will get a contract to record an album after millions of Americans cast their votes for the guitarist who likes the blues, even though the judges felt that Bowersox did better in the final presentation on Tuesday.
Considered shy and awkward at first, Lee got some kind of revelation in the last rounds and became a serious threat to Bowersox, a single mother and a rock fan.
Most people would agree to say that Lee won the competition after he sang a moving version of the classic song “Hallelujah” by Leonard Cohen in semifinals.
After the 6th break, Lee Dewyze performed a song with.the group “Chicago.” Next contestant Larry Platt came back to sing that “Pants On The Ground” song. William Hung joined in towards the end. After the 7th break, they showed another Simon video montage. Then Paula Abdul came onstage to pay a special tribute to Simon. After that, Kelly Clarkson and all the past “American Idol” winners hit the stage to sing a song to Simon. Then other past “Idol” contestants joined them to sing the song. Next, Simon went onstage to say a few words. After the break, Janet Jackson hit the stage with this year’s “American Idol” contestants to sing a song. Then she did a special solo performance. She sang, “Nothing,” and “Nasty Boys.” Afterwards,Crystal and Lee did another performance. After the final break, they finally revealed that Lee Dewyze won “American Idol” season 9. So, Lee Dewyze is your “American Idol” season 9 winner

Adriana Lima was discovered while at a local mall at the age of 13. She finished in first place in a Ford Supermodel of Brazil model search. Lima later followed with a second place finish in the 1996 Ford Supermodel of the World contest.Shortly after, Lima moved to New York City, and eventually moved on from Ford, signing with Elite Model Management. Her early career consisted mostly of fashion editorial work (with early appearances in international editions of Vogue and Marie Claire in 1997/1998), as well as runway work (Christian Lacroix, Valentino, and others). Lima’s first big break came when she was featured in a Vassarette billboard in Times Square. Her print career followed, and like many other famous names (Claudia Schiffer, Laetitia Casta, Eva Herzigova), Lima became a GUESS? Girl in their 2000 Costanoa and has face campaign.
Lima continued to build upon her entry, doing more print work (Maybelline, bebe, Mossimo, BCBG) and gracing the cover and editorials of more high fashion magazines (Harper’s Bazaar, ELLE). Probably best known for her Victoria’s Secret work and Angel status (along with Heidi Klum, Gisele Bündchen, and Alessandra Ambrosio), Lima first graced the VS runway in 2000, and was the show opener for the 2003 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
In 2001, Lima starred in BMW Films short, The Follow alongside actors Mickey Rourke, Clive Owen, and Forest Whitaker. In the film, Owen’s character is hired to follow Lima’s, who is suspected of cheating on her famous husband, played by Rourke. The film had a runtime of 8:47 including credits, was written by Andrew Kevin Walker, and directed by Wong Kar-Wai. Lima made it clear that acting is not her priority and that she only did The Follow because it was a short film.

Not that I harbor any ill will toward Kelly Clarkson, but I’ve got to say, heartbreak and resentment sound awfully good on her. Indeed, the original American Idol is back in the role of woman scorned on “Never Again,” the new single from her upcoming CD, My December, and the track packs an even more stinging punch than her ubiquitous “Since U Been Gone.”
Lyrically, Kelly aims most of her rage at her cheating lover, but midway through the second verse, as she turns her attention to the other woman, she manages to simultaneously deliver a warning and a bitchslap with the lines: “When your day comes and he’s through with you/ And he’ll be through with you/ You’ll die together, but alone.” Ice cold â?? but refreshing!

Bill Clinton Hospitalized, President Bill Clinton was admitted to a hospital in NY today after experiencing chest pain.
A rep for 63-year-old Clinton just released the following statement:
“Today President Bill Clinton was admitted to the Columbia Campus of NY Presbyterian hospital after feeling discomfort in his chest.
Following a visit to his cardiologist, he underwent a procedure to place 2 stents in one of his coronary arteries.
President Clinton is in good spirits and will continue to focus on the work of his Foundation and Haiti’s relief and long-term recovery efforts.”
The statement continues, “In 2004, President Clinton underwent a successful quadruple bypass operation to free four blocked arteries.”
FYI — a “stent” is a device that opens up a blocked artery.
UPDATE: Hilary Clinton has announced that she’s on her way from Washington to be with Bill.

Unlike the other seasons, this season is shot only twenty days after theSurvivor : Samoa was completed. No gap between the seasons facilitated the use of existing infrastructure of the previous season and the casting for Heroes VsVillains was also done simultaneously with Survivor: Samoa. The new Heroes Vs Villains has two groups named “the Heroes” who are known for their integrity and “the Villains” who are known for their deception. All of them are former survivors. The cast was announced on the 36th People’s choice awards in January, 2010. According to Jeff Probst, the host of the show, the production initially selected 50 players form the past seasons and panned them down to 20 players leaving a place for a possible player from Samoa. Some of the selection were made whom the production thought would be exciting to see. Though the players are classified as the Heroes and the Villains, depending on their natural style, they can take whatever role which they feel would be best for the survival.

American Chopper Final Episode
American Chopper Final Episode : The American Chopper series finale is now upon us. American Chopper airs its series finale on Thursday night as TLC bids good-bye to one of its longer running series. American Chopper actually got its start over on the Discovery Channel, but made the move to TLC during the 2008 television season. 
Now American Chopper will come to an end after six seasons, 147 original episodes, and quite a few brand-new (and flashy) bikes leaving their garage. The show survived for quite a while on the network, but ended up coming under the ax recently when TLC decided to go in a different direction.
The American Chopper series finale will air at 9 p.m. PST/EST (8 p.m. CST) on TLC, Thursday, February 11th. This is the end of the line for the Teutul family, but there have also been rumors going around that Paul Teutul Jr. may end up getting a brand new show for himself. Fans would be happy to hear that, asAmerican Chopper has had many loyal viewers through the years.

Alexander Noyes
Alexander Noyes, Noyes was born in Wayne, New Jersey. He went to high school with Kevin Jonas. While the drummer for the Jonas Brothers, he toured with the band, throughout 2005 and 2006. In this time frame, Jonas Brothers had gone on several tours, opening for various artists including, Kelly Clarkson, Jesse McCartney, the Backstreet Boys.
After Noyes left the Jonas Brothers, he joined the band Honor Society, which he is currently a member of. The band started off rehearsing in the Noyes’ basement in New Jersey. The Gentlemen’s Club, the band’s youtube series, was filmed in the Noyes house.
In summer 2009, Honor Society embarked on two tours, simultaneously. Honor Society was the opening act on the Jonas Brothers World Tour 2009, as well as the headlining act on the Full Moon Crazy Tour. Honor Society Fashionably Late CD was released in stores on September 15, 2009. Honor Society’s Fashionably Late Tour kicked off on September 19, 2009 and ended in December 2009. Honor Society toured with Timbaland on 6 dates in January of 2010. It was announced at the Pro Bowl on January 31, 2010 that Honor Society will embark on their next headlining tour, the Here Comes Trouble tour in March of 2010.
