KOHAT: A powerful blast rocked Kohat district when substantial amount of explosives reportedly planted outside a house went off with heart-failing sound in Meri Colony on early Saturday, reports TrendPK.
Thankfully, no loss of life or injury has been reported in the blast.
Police and other law enforcement agencies, having arrived on the site of the explosion, have placed a strict cordon around the area and have whilst kicked off search operation in the adjoining localities.
Witnesses said that the bomb had been planted in a box beside the main gate of a house which inflicted minor damages on the entrance. TrendPK

KHYBER AGENCY: At least seven people were killed and six others wounded on Friday when a pickup they were traveling in plunged into a gorge in Khyber Agency tribal region.
According to sources, the accident took place at Teerah Valley in Tehsil Bara, Khyber Agency.
Seven people died on the spot and six others suffered serious wounds.
Some local people pulled the injured and dead out of the wreckage on self-help basis and shifted them to a private clinic. Trend Pk

Karachi: Combatant belonging from Khyber Agency held
In Karachi, CID police has managed to arrest the combatant who belongs to Khyber Agency; suspect had been involved in murder of three people and bomb attacks on schools and police stations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to SP CID Fayyaz Khan, the arrest of suspect Khadim Nabi Umar was made possible upon secret information from area of Marripur. The suspect belongs from Khyber Agency and he had been involved in bombing schools and police stations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. During investigation, the suspect also confirmed that he has murdered 3 persons.

Peshawar: Cop hurt in grenade attack
A cop and a child got injured in a grenade attack at a checkpost at Khyber Agency, Peshawar, Dunya News reported on Wednesday.
The assailant, however, have been killed in the retaliatory fire by the police.
Police told the reporters that the grenade was meant for an FC car which somehow evaded the attack, while two including a cop and a child got wounded. The injured cop has been shifted to Hayatabad Medical Complex.

PESHAWAR: At least one policeman has been injured in a hand grenade attack in the historic Bara area. Police have also killed one attacker in the encounter.
According to sources, unknown motorcycle riding miscreants attacked Bara, which is in the outskirts of Peshawar adjacent to Khyber Agency, with a hand grenade .
Sources added that one policeman sustained injuries in the attack while police immediately rushed after them and managed to kill one attacker inside the tribal area. SAMAA

KHYBER AGENCY: Unknown militants set several NATO tankers on fire after killing two persons, including a driver, in Kurram Agency late Thursday night.
The attack took place in Tehsil Jamrud, Khyber Agency, according to sources.
The NATO tankers were returning from Afghanistan.

PESHAWAR: Pakistan has continued to block NATO supplies, from Pakistan into Afghanistan, on 4th consecutive day in Khyber Agency on Sunday.
Pakistan halted convoys of supplies from Thursday, after a cross-border firing in Kurram Agency by NATO helicopters and causing deaths of three Pakistani soldiers.
According to sources, all convoys had been kept on halt for the fourth day, but high level negotiations between US and Pakistani officials continues to solve the problem.
Earlier on Thursday, an official at Torkham, the main border crossing in Pakistan’s Khyber district, said
“The situation is the same. The border is blocked for NATO supplies,”
Trucks and oil tankers’ long queues had stuck along the Torkham border areas in a constant wait for the reopening of the roads.

ISLAMABAD: Security agencies arrested six persons after seizing robbed NATO goods from their possession during a raid in Islamabad on Sunday.
According to sources, police and other law enforcement agencies raided a house in Tarnol area in the outskirts of Islamabad and recovered NATO supplies, including military products and uniforms.
The arrested men belong to Khyber Agency tribal region.
SP Malik Liaquat confirmed the arrests, saying that raids were conducted on the identification of already held accused. SAMAA
