He has warned them they should not call for chastisement and anger of Allah by decomposing reality.

It was said in a statement issued from London.

He asserted that the religious scholars who are terming the murder of Urdu-speaking people, are actually equalizing both the killer and the killed. He warned the scholars to bring a change in their view; otherwise ,they must keep silent.

Altaf showed sympathy with the descendants of the victims and appealed them to remain calm and composed rather than being irritated over such subjective statements.

Indian troops martyr one more Kashmiri youth

The troops killed the youth in Zachaldara area of Handwara during a siege and search operation. Indian army claimed that the killed youth was a militant.

On the other hand, two persons were killed and four others injured in different road accidents in Pantha Chowk, Sonamarg, Pattan and Budgam areas. A man was killed after he was hit by a stone at Shirpora Bala in Islamabad.

Meanwhile, five shops were damaged in a fire that broke out at Bohri Kadal in Srinagar.

Majority of Shiite community and Iraqi security forces are mainly targeted the in the violence.

According to police sources, the car exploded on about 2 P.M. on Thursday. At least 35 people, including three children, were killed and 40 wounded.

Sporadic bombings also targeted Iraqi troops and an electricity official on Thursday morning. The first roadside bomb occurred about 8:30 A.M. near a police patrol at a commercial complex in Baghdad, killing one civilian and injuring five other people, including four police soldiers, authorities confirmed.

According to officials, Ismaeel al-Obeidi, director general of Baghdad’s central electricity directorate, also escaped from an assassination attempt when a roadside bomb struck the two cars convoy carrying him to work. As the result of blast, one of his guards was killed and two others wounded.

No One Killed Jessica is based on model Jessica Lal”s murder case. Produced by Ronnie Screwvala and directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, the film has Rani playing the role of a reporter and Vidya playing Jessica”s younger sister Sabrina. It is set to hit the theatres tomorrow, January 7.

KARACHI: At least nine people have been killed and three others sustained injuries in the latest row of violence in Karachi.

According to police, early this morning, two dead bodies with their hands and legs tied were found in Lyari. Last night, unknown attackers killed three people and injured another three near a mosque in Baldia Town No. 5. Among the killed were Subhan, Sharif and Noor; the injured included Abdullah, Karim and Arif.

After receiving information, heavy contingents of police and rangers rushed to the scene and barricaded the area while the deceased and injured were shifted to the hospital.

In two other separate incidents, a political outfit’s activist, Abdul Majid, was killed in Al-Falah area of Shah Faisal Colony. Another person was gunned down by unknown miscreants in Korangi No. 5. Trend Pk

8 killed in US drone attacks in North Waziristan

At least 8 people were killed in US drone strikes launched Wednesday evening in North Waziristan.
According to sources, two US drones fired four missiles at two vehicles in the Qutab Khel area and Mir Ali in North Waziristan.
Details about the identity of the killed in the strike are not immediately available. Todays strike is the third of its kind since November. On Nov. 1, the US drones fired four missiles in North Waziristan, killing at least six people.

At least four people were killed and another was injured in US drone strikes launched Wednesday evening in North Waziristan.
According to sources, two US drones fired four missiles at two vehicles in the Qutab Khel area of North Waziristan, a tribal region in northwest Pakistan, which is believed to be a stronghold of militants.
Details about the identity of the killed in the strike are not immediately available. Todays strike is the second of its kind since November. On Nov. 1, the US drones fired four missiles in North Waziristan, killing at least six people.
