Peshawar: 3 killed in firing at saints mausoleum
As many as three people have been killed while another got injured in firing by some unidentified felons at Syed Arab Shah Ghazis mausoleum at Badh Bair, Peshawar, TrendPK.com reported on Tuesday.
The dead include Muhammad Ali alias Deewana, Salam and Ghazi while Tehmash got wounded.
Indonesia: 35 killed in train crash
Around 35 people were killed while 13 others injured Saturday when two passenger trains collided in Indonesia’s Central Java province.
The Argo Anggrek train was going from Jakarta to the East Java capital of Surabaya when it ploughed into the stationary Senja Utama before dawn in Pemalang district.
‘All the bodies have been brought here but some of the injured were being treated in another hospital,’ said Tita Indriyani, an official at Hasyim Ashari Hospital in Pemalang.
The drivers of the trains survived the accident and were being questioned by police, local media said.

KURRAM AGENCY: The death toll of fierce clashes between two rival tribes and gunship helicopters’ shelling in Kurram Agency has risen to 36 on Sunday.
According to sources, clashes continue to take place among armed members of Tangi and Shalozan tribes over a water dispute for the last 16 days in the Shalozan area of Upper Kurrram Agency.
In fresh clashes, 19 people were killed and scores of others injured as the 16-day death toll rose to 138, leaving 180 injured.
The gunship helicopters of the agencies targeted terrorist hideouts in the area. 16 people, including three children, have been killed while many others sustained injuries.

Kurram: 13 killed, 19 injured in tribal clash
Around 13 people got killed while 19 others injured in a clash between two rival tribes in Upper Kurram Agency on Thursday.
Fight between two tribes namely Mengal and Turi is continued for the last 12 days in Shalozan Tangi and Khewas which pushed the death toll to 51 with 62 others injured. Some 7 houses have also been set on fire.
Heavy arms are being used by both the sides whereas a Jirga is said to be trying to stop the ongoing spar.
3 killed, 15 injured due to over-speeding van crash
3 women get killed while 15 others are injured as a speedy van met an accident near district Jhang.
The incident happened when an over-speeding van, on rout from Toba-Tek-Sing to Jhang, lost control and overturned. The van hit upside-down so hard that three passenger women got killed immediately. The injured were rushed to DHQ Jhang where 10 of them are said to be critical.

3 people are killed while one other is injured in different firing incidents in Karachi. According to police – firing incidents happened in the wee hours of Monday at the surrounding areas of Layyari the Sadar Town, Garden, Usman Abad, Ranchor and Ramaswami – took lives of three people named Zubair Hashmi, Rasheed Aziz and Zubair Ganchi while wounding a man named Asif.
Violence erupted in different areas after the incidents and Police and Rangers reportedly started patrolling in the terror stricken areas.
US drone strike kills 5 in North Waziristan
At least five foreign suspected militants were killed in a drone strike on Sunday in Data Khel, North Wazristan.
According to official sources, two missiles were fired on a compound due to which five suspected militants were killed. The number of causalities may rise. Fear and panic gripped the area following the attack.
Residents said five bodies had been dug from the rubble. Some injured people had been taken to an unknown location for medical treatment.Intelligence officials said they were trying to find out the nationalities of the people killed in the latest attack.
Hyderabad: 5 killed in car crash
At least five people were killed while 16 others were injured when a van crashed due to over speeding near Loni Kot, Hyderabad. The van was bound for Norani from Karachi.
According to police, heavy rain was underway when the car toppled due to over speeding. Five passengers were killed on spot while the injured were rushed to District Hospital Hyderabad. Most of the injured passengers are in critical condition.
Kurram Agency:16 killed In Firing On Convoy
At least 16 people have been killed when some unidentified miscreants opened fire at a passengers convoy in Kurram Agency on Saturday.
Sources said that a caravan was going to Peshawar from Upper Kurram along with the security forces’ convoy, when some unknown felons opened fire at them near Char Khel, Upper Kurram.
Resultantly, 16 people got killed while four other injured.
The wounded have been shifted to a nearby hospital of whom two are said to be in a critical condition. The political administration shifted the dead bodies to Chapri checkpost. Two cars also destroyed in the attack.
Security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation.

Asif Ali Zardari President of Pakistan on Friday said that the upcoming round of Pak-US Strategic Dialogue would further advance progress made so far in the mutually agreed areas of cooperation between Pakistan and the United States.
He said that the roadmap prepared during previously held meetings between the officials of the two countries for making consistent progress would be pursued further for implementation of the projects identified in those meetings.
This he said during his dinner meeting with Ambassador Richard Holbrooke, U.S. Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan, at Aiwan-e-Sadr.
The US Ambassador in Islamabad Anne W. Patterson, Secretary General to the President M. Salman Faruqui and Pakistan’s Ambassador in Washington Hussain Haqqani were also present in the meeting.
Matters relating to the bilateral relations and mutual cooperation, security situation in the region and the shared terrorist threat were discussed in the meeting. Discussing regional security situation, the President said that Pakistani people and “our armed forces have made great sacrifices in the ongoing fight against militancy.”
Despite great human and material toll, “we are determined to pursue our struggle till its logical end,” the President emphasized. He said that the international community must take into considerations “our requirements and valid concerns” while chalking out any strategy in this regard.
The President stressed that the development of conflict ridden areas was essential for changing the militant mindset and winning the battle of hearts and minds.
President Zardari said that he has been urging the international community to specifically focus on prioritised areas of development for preemption of proclivities breeding militancy and extremism.
On Afghanistan, the President said that a stable, prosperous and peaceful Afghanistan was in the interest of Pakistan and it firmly believes in the policy of neutrality and non-interference in internal matters of Afghanistan.
Pakistan, he said, supported the Afghan led process of political reconciliation and efforts for the stability of the neighboring country. The President said that Pakistan is ready to assist Afghanistan in all possible manners for the development of infrastructure and strengthening of its institutions.
Reiterating US administration’s long-term and multifaceted commitment towards Pakistani Government and its people, Ambassador Holbrooke expressed the hope that the dialogue would yield positive results and would contribute in further strengthening the bilateral relations and mutual cooperation.
He said that United Stated values Pakistan’s desire for peace and stability in the region and we greatly appreciate sacrifices made by Pakistan in the war against terror.
