Breaking News dc124f83cide attack Peshawar: DSP among three dead in suicide attackThree people, including a DSP, got killed while 6 others injured when a suicide bomber hit a police convoy at Kohat Road in Peshawar, trendpk.Com reported on Monday.

The blast hit the mobile van passing at Kohat Road near Ring Road Bridge, killing three people including DSP Rasheed Khan, a cop and a passer-by on the spot.

Some six people also got injured, who were later shifted to nearby hospitals.

Two cars also got damaged in the attack. Law enforcement agencies threw cordon around the area.

BANNU, News Trends: At least three policemen were killed in suicide attack over a police van in Bannu.

The injured have been shifted to district headquarter hospital Bannu, where some injured were said to be in precarious condition.

Police have cordoned off the area and launched search operation.

The investigators have found head and legs of the suicide bomber.

KARACHI: The worst terrorist attack in the history of Karachi on Thursday devastated Al-Madina locality, leaving approximately 400 people homeless who continue to sit and sleep on the rubble of their demolished houses for the last 48 hours.

Speaking to Trend Pk, they said that about 60 to 89 houses had been demolished in the deadly bombing, killing three women and injuring nine others, including children.

Al-Madina locality was established in 1960.

North Waziristan: Four killed in two drone attacks

As many as four people were killed in twin drone strikes in Datta Khel, North Waziristan, Dunya News reported on Wednesday.
The first drone strike hit a compound allegedly housing militants in Mir Ali Shah, killing two. The second drone hit a vehicle in Datta Khel killing three people and injuring two others. The total toll from the strikes stands at five. Drone strikes reached an all time high in September last month.

Troops kill 3 militants in Swat

SWAT: Three militants were killed in a fresh clash with security forces in Matta tehsil of Swat early Monday morning.

Acting on a tip off, troops raided a house in Shagai village of Matta tehsil, where suspected militants were holed up.

However, militants opened fire at the troops who retaliated, killing three attackers.

Taliban vow more attacks on NATO supplies

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Taliban on Monday vowed more attacks on tankers transporting fuel to NATO troops in Afghanistan, a move likely to prolong the closure of a vital supply route and further strain ties with ally Washington.

Angered by repeated attacks by NATO helicopters on militant targets within its borders, Pakistan blocked one of the supply routes for NATO troops in Afghanistan after one strike killed three Pakistani soldiers last week in the western Kurram region.

Pakistani has blocked oil tankers and trucks carrying Nato supplies at Khyber Agency on Thursday.
Two officials said that they were not told the reason for the order at the Torkham border post. However, it comes after threats by Pakistani officials to stop providing protection to Nato convoys if the military alliance’s choppers hit Pakistani targets again.

Kurram: Nato choppers hit FC checkpoint; three killed

Despite severe protest and warnings by Pakistan, the Nato helicopters Thursday shelled a paramilitary checkpost and killed three soldiers in a cross border attack in Kurram Agency, security officials said.
The Nato choppers violated Pakistans airspace at 5:00am and pounded an FC checkpost at , killing three FC men and injuring as many at Mand-To-Kandao, Kurram Agency.
It was an unprovoked attack that took place early Thursday morning. Nato helicopters entered our airspace and targeted a paramilitary checkpost killing three soldiers and wounding three others, a senior security official told mediamen.
According to sources, this has been Natos third attack in Pakistani territory within a week. The Nato Spokesman in Afghanistan has not confirmed the attack.
