Lady Gaga is getting a Lifetime movie bio
TrendPK.com: Exclusive: I don’t know if she knows it, but Lady Gaga is getting a Lifetime movie biopic. A casting call has gone out for an actress to play Stefani Germanotta, aka Gaga, from Lifetime. Listed as the producer is Ilene Kahn Power. Norman Snider has written the script for the film called “Fame Monster.” It’s a Toronto production. I’m told it’s optioned from Maureen Callahan‘s book, “Poker Face.” It’s not a “go” movie apparently, but they’re casting away. I’m told it’s also a love letter to Gaga, and not a’ “slash and burn.” It’s going to be about she invented herself, I’m told, and not about her copyrighted later appearances and costumes.
Here’s the description: “STEFANI GERMANOTTA (LADY GAGA) is a bright rebellious Catholic school girl who dreams of fame. The story covers her from age 16 to 22. When we first meet her she is a dark haired, off beat, very talented and intensely ambitious teen. She comes from a Italian/American well off, close knit, Upper West Side NYC family. She never felt she ‘fit in’ with her fellow students in high school and was disappointed when her college experience at NYU didn’t meet her expectations.
So, with her parent’s reluctant permission at 19, she drops out and moves downtown to the Lower East Side where the artists are. Independent and strong willed, Stefani learns she must be something more than a talented young girl and to really stand out, she must change. The story covers the ups and downs of her amazing rise and eventually to her transformation to Lady GAGA. We are seeking an actress who can physically resemble Lady GAGA (see photo) and who can believably span ages 16 to 22. Singing is preferred but not required.”
The last line is funny, because Lady Gaga can sure sing.

Are you surprised Kim is so popular on Twitter?
Lady Gaga Dating Rumors
September 11, 2011 by Trend PK

For such a public figure Lady Gaga usually manages to keep her romances fairly secretive but that hasn’t stopped rumors from flaring up from time to time. The latest is that she has been developing a romance with the star that played her boyfriend in her latest video, “You and I”. The man in question is 30-year-old Taylor Kinney, he is best known for his role as a werewolf on TV show The Vampire Diaries.
Gaga had last been linked to Luc Carl, but reportedly they split for the second time some months ago. Her latest single “You and I” is written about her ex Luc. She has spoken openly about the fact that the song makes her emotional as it’s about her former relationship. Last year, Gaga told Rolling Stone: ‘I’ve really never loved anyone like I love him.’
However there have been various reports that Gaga and Kinney have been spotted out and about together and have been very publicly displaying their affections for each other.
Lady Gaga at Britney Spears Concert

Two of today’s biggest pop icons came together over the weekend. Lady Gaga who has been a longtime fan of Britney attended Britney Spears’ Femme Fatale concert Saturday night in Atlantic City. Spears wasted no time in announcing to the crowd news of her very special guest
“I have a very special guest tonight… Lady Gaga is here.”
Lady Gaga was sitting up front in the floor section, stood and waved and a made a heart sign with her hands and Britney hearted her back.
Britney was almost upstaged by Gaga when during a break in the concert the crowd started chanting her name and rushing over to snap pictures. Gaga got up on her feet and pumped her fists to Britney’s new single, “I Wanna Go.”
Later Britney Twittered to show her appreciation of Gaga
“So amazing to have the beautiful @LadyGaga at the show in AC tonight. Love you girl.”
Lady Gaga Sells a Mere 30K CDs

TrendPK.com: Reports of revived CD sales are highly exaggerated. According to the numbers collected on hitsdailydouble.com, last week is pretty bad for the music industry. Summer used to be a time when kids had to have their music. But last week the top 10 totaled less than 500,000 copies sold of anything. Lady Gaga’s “Born this Way” was down to 30,000 units. That’s not enough to pay for anyone to carry her rapidly cracking egg.
The number 1 CD, Beyonce‘s “4,” made the grade with a mere 111,000 copies. The only bright spot was Adele, as usual, clocking in at number 2 with 79,000. I’m not sure if anyone’s explained this to her, but Adele is the record business right now. Other than Adele, who’s also selling copies of her “19″ album (yes everyone’s just numbering their CDs for titles–this generation can’t remember titles like “The Low Spark of High Heeled Boys” or “Songs in the Key of Life”– the next hit album will be called LOL) everyone else is at a standstill. Both new generation “American Idol” (Scotty McCreery) and old (David Cook) are just about tied with 13,000 copies each.
To his credit, Barry Manilow sold 10,230 copies of a CD full of original material on a small label and finished at number 36. The next big release, fingers crossed, will be country singer Blake Shelton this week. But other than that, it’s not such a promising release schedule.
Did Lady Gaga pocket funds raised for a Japan charity?
TrendPK.com: Lady Gaga is being sued for some $5M amid claims that she pocketed partial proceeds from a campaign designed to aid Japan earthquake victims. According to Ari Kresch, an attorney with 1-800-Law-Firm, the legal group filing the suit, “I’m suing Lady Gaga simply to hold her accountable for giving the money that she was raising for charity to the cause that she was trying to raise it for.”
So, what’s the problem? According to the plaintiffs, the Lady Gaga camp was overcharging for extras like shipping and handling in conjunction with the $5 “We Pray for Japan” bracelets that donors expected to go to charity. The allegation is that in place of all proceeds less logistical costs going to charity, as was implied, that the Gaga camp donated some percentage of the money, used some percentage for logistical cost, and kept some percentage for itself.
Another 1-800-Law-Firm rep, Alyson Oliver, added, “When we tried to communicate with the defendants in this lawsuit, all we got was, ‘well, some of the money is being retained, but we don’t really know how much.’” Per Gossip Cop, the suit says Lady Gaga “violated a number of federal racketeering laws as well as consumer protection laws from the alleged scam.”
Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way” banned in Lebanon
TrendPK.com: What the heck is happening overseas? The United States are supposed to be conservative, with the rest of the world loosening its restrictions on modern media. But first we get a story that Britain has banned a sequel to “The Human Centipede” because of lewd and graphic sexual behavior, and now Lady Gaga is being banned in Lebanon.
Officials in Lebanon banned Gaga’s latest album “Born This Way,” saying that the record is “offensive to Christianity,” according to The Guardian. Copies of the album were “impounded” by the office of general security when they arrived at Beirut’s airport, the paper adds.
“Distributors are prohibited from circulating media that diverges from public decency and morality or is at odds with nationalistic or religious beliefs,” officials said.
Lady Gaga doesn’t think she is more influential than Oprah
TrendPK.com: Lady Gaga recently topped ‘Forbes’ list of influential and powerful celebrities, but she doesn’t really feel like she should be there.
While she was honored with the title, she feels like the woman in second place deserved it, states OK! Magazine. “Oprah is infinitely more important and influential than me,” Gaga commented.
However, she was happy to know that people like what she is doing right now and feel that it has some sort of importance: “What matters most to me is how the fans feel about the work that I’m doing and the music. But it’s always really, really nice to get compliments like that.”
Lady Gaga reveals that she was thrown in a trash can
TrendPK.com: Lady Gaga may be on top of the world now, but she went through some hard times when she as younger.
Gaga is reportedly revealing on an MTV special that she was bullied by others, states Hollyscoop. “The boys picked me up and threw me in the trash can on the street, on the corner of my block while all the other girls from the school were leaving and could see me in the trash,” Gaga admitted.
Gaga then revealed that the moment made her feel pathetic as everyone was around her laughing.
