President Zardari Invite MQM Members to Dinner

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: President Zardari Invite MQM Members to Dinner, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) parliamentarians will meet President Asif Ali Zardari in Presidency this evening with Farooq Sattar leading the delegation. According to sources, President Zardari will try to address apprehensions of MQM on various issues whereas President will also host a dinner in honor of MQM parliamentarians after the meeting.
Earlier, MQM Chief Altaf Hussain had suggested President Zardari to abolish 17th amendment as soon as possible and transfer all powers to the parliament.

Altaf Hussain said that Asif Ali Zardari was a very good friend and he had brotherly relations with him. “I will never suggest the government to confront the institutions, the abolition of 58-2(b) is essential,” Altaf added. He said the country was going through energy crisis and millions of people were getting unemployed. “President Zardari should pay attention to the common man’s problems and boost the morale of the military in fight against terrorism.

Kashmir issue to be resolved soon: Nawaz Sharif

Lahore, Pakistan:- PML-N Chief Mian Nawaz Sharif said on Thursday the day was not far when issue of Kashmir would be resolved peacefully and respectfully.

Addressing a public meeting as part of election campaign in Sakardu, Nawaz said, “We never lied in politics and we wish a prosperous Gilgit-Baltistan.” He pledged to reduce unemployment in the area. “Whoever is unemployed, we will give him job.” Nawaz reiterated his party’s resolve to work day and night for resolution of all public problems. “If you help the lion succeed, the lion would resolve all of your problems.”

Political activates have surged to the peak as political parties are campaigning for the elections on November 12 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
