India Vs Australia: 7th ODI Today:India vs Australia 7th ODI of the Hero Honda India Australia 2009 series will be played on Wednesday, November 11 at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai.
India having already lost the series will be playing the seventh one-day international for pride.
Before the start of the series India hoped and were confident of beating the Australians and clinching the top spot in the ICC rankings.
Australia having won the series is leading by 4-2 and would hope to make it 5-2.
Whereas, India will try its level best to win the last ODI to save itself from embarrassment.
Team India have lost three successive matches at Mohali, Hyderabad and Guwahati and a much needed victory may provide them a boost in their confidence ahead of the Test, ODIs and twenty20 matches against Sri Lanka.
Australia’s Shane Watson and fast bowler Mitchell Johnson will not be playing the 7th One day international as they will be flying back to Australia and take some rest and prepare themselves for the series against West Indies and Pakistan.
The Mumbai pitch would assist the pacers and overcast conditions would further encourage the fast bowlers.
However rain is forecast for tomorrow and even the practice session on the eve of the game had to be cancelled because of persistent showers.
