Modern muscle car Chrysler 300 SRT8

 

The current 300 SRT8 s engine might share the pushrods of the original Chrysler 300 models, but the big touch screen, adaptive cruise control, and active suspension certainly weren t available in 1965.

 

Like an old muscle car, the 2012 Chrysler 300 SRT8 starts up with a roar from its 6.4-liter Hemi V-8, then settles down to a low rumble that makes the car shiver as if alive.

 

At the same time, an 8.4-inch touch-screen makes useful features such as navigation and a Bluetooth phone system easily available to the driver.

 

Largely successful mix of classic power and new electronics could also be found in the car.

 

Of course, the bold exterior styling of the 300 has contributed to its success. Not many cars have a horizontal roofline these days.

Super Models like Krishna Somani, Amanpreet Wahi , Donna Katherin Masih, Talia Bentson including others enthralled the audience displaying the 30 collections of the Fashion Design FD students, and 9 collections of the Fashion Design Indian Wear FDIW students.

The fashion show is primarily a showcase for budding fashion designers. In addition to being a unique opportunity for talented fashion designers, the event promises to attract the participation of some of the most creative makeup artists, trend setting hair stylists and stunning runway models.

According to Choreographer Ms. Rashmi Virmani , “The concept of this exciting series of shows is to create a relaxed environment for fashionistas to enjoy a top-of-the-line runway show and have the opportunity to place orders and interact with the designers.” He adds, “Fashion lovers will be in fashion heaven as they spend a stylish afternoon in Jaipur soaking up the latest in fashion design along with a delicious brunch while sipping champagne”.

"Bheja Fry 2 was never supposed to star Rajat Kapoor" – Sagar Ballary

The Bheja Fry director Sagar Ballary is ready with three films, to be released one after the other in the next one year.

Bheja Fry 2 is the one that is being most talked-about. Cutting down the controversy over the casting Ballary, currently shooting with director Madhur Bhandarkar for Hum Tum Aur Shabana says Rajat Kapoor was never meant to star in the sequel to Bheja Fry. “As in any ongoing series, only the character of the hero namely Bharat Bhushan played by Vinay Pathak would remain constant. All the rest of the characters, including Rajat Kapoor changes every time,” explains Sagar.

Sagar says the rumour about Rajat Kapoor opting out was spread by an actor who was sacked from Bheja Fry 2.

“That actor thought that by spreading rumours about Rajat, she was covering her own tracks. I’m very happy to say Bheja Fry 2, as too my other two new films Nimbu Paani (for children) and Hum Tum Aur Shabana which I am shooting now are absolutely original. As for Bheja Fry it was inspired by a French film (Francis Veber’s Dinner Game), no doubt. I am happy to see a new Hollywood film Dinner For Schmuks based on the same matter. If I may say so myself my Bheja Fry was far less slapstick than the Hollywood film.”

Sagar’s new film Hum Tum Aur Shabana is partly set in the fashion world, and that’s where Madhur Bhandarkar came in on Thursday.

“We shot him on the ramp. He plays one of the judges at a beauty pageant. At the end he walks the ramp with the models.”

LG Launched GU220 and GU285 mobile phones in India

LG has introduced its all new and GU220 & GU285 amusement park phones in the Indian market. These are phones that are unsurprising to make available more entertainment for the users.

It has been prepared with the same features as other models in the market. This has a large 5.6cm screen with 1.3MP camera. As 3G is present the company has taken care to offer mobile with a supplementary VGA camera for video calls.

Especially in this model is the special 5 email balance sheet setup. Users can check email with no trouble in these five accounts. LG has also situated “Rock Talk” an embedded request that helps people to connect to the messengers who Gtalk and Yahoo. They have also made the sound quality by placing six built-in equalizer. It is priced somewhat above 5000 INR.

Antm Cycle 14 Episode 2

Antm Cycle 14 Episode 2, Last week, the contestants were asked to create a social networking-styled profile, including a profile photo and a video of their walk.  Current and past top models were their inspiration for a final picture.  Tatianna got scolded for emulating Megan Fox rather than a model while Gabrielle impressed Mr. Jay with her knowledge of the industry. Only 12 out of the 32 models were selected and they met Ren, the 13th contestant in New York.

Tonight in America’s Next Top Model Cycle 14 Episode 2, the models will be posing nude at their first photo shoot. Edinburgh Charity Fashion Show 2010

Hailed as one of the biggest events in the society calendar, March signals the return of the Edinburgh Charity Fashion Show. Organised by Edinburgh University students, the show is now in its 7th year, having raised a staggering quarter of a million pounds for charity to date. Last year alone over £60,000 was raised for charities such as Maggie’s Cancer Care Centre.

The charities being supported this year include Marie Curie, The Scottish Association for Mental Health and Poppyscotland. Tickets for the shows, held at the Corn Exchange, are available for both nights: Friday 19 March is the student night, with a VIP night being held on the 20th. Afterparties for both nights will be held at the Opal Lounge nightclub, with specially made cocktails on the menu. The VIP night will also see the return of the infamous auction (past items have included Sting’s guitar). Each year, the shows are organised around a central theme, which this year is a surrealist spectacle of magical reality. The models, who are all students, have showcased some of the finest fashions by designers such as Luella and Vivienne Westwood in previous events. Martha Braddle, one of this year’s models, says that the surreal theme has been a fun concept to incorporate into both the models’ clothing and the choreography of the catwalk. In addition to the big names, promising students at the Edinburgh College of Art are being given a chance to showcase their talent, meaning this year’s show is a must-see event.

Milan Fashion Week Has Begun In Italy

The Milan Fashion Week has begun in Italy, in which the models would feature Fall/Winter 2010 collection.
The fashion week would last till March 2, in which the models have featured sandals decorated with precious stones and evening bags last evening. Models from all over the world are participating in the event. Besides Italy, famous designers and many celebrities from across the globe opened their creations.

London Fashion Week: Campbell On Ramp To Raise Charity For Haiti

This year, the London Fashion Week began with a charity fundraiser show, which was planned by supermodel Naomi Campbell after staging the same in New York earlier.
Campbell, 39, had organised the Fashion for Relief Haiti show on February 12 as part of the New York Fashion Week to raise money in aid of the earthquake-hit Caribbean nation. Annabelle Neilsen, Kate Moss and other models also joined Campbell on the ramp. The models paid tribute to late fashion designer Alexander McQueen, while featuring his creations. The show was sponsored by Prime Minister Gorodn Brown, his wife Sara Brwon and Campbell under the aegis of ‘White Ribbon Alliance For Safe Motherhood’. Campbell is goodwill ambassador of the above mentioned organization.
