England beat Pakistan by four wickets with three balls remaining in the second of five one-day internationals on Sunday to take a 2-0 series lead.
Andrew Strauss anchored England’s challenge with a determined 126 from 134 balls, and added 146 for the second wicket with Jonathan Trott, who was run out for 53, as Pakistan’s stiff target of 295 was overhauled with four wickets and three balls to spare in a thrilling encounter at Headingley.
