What Channel is The Vikings Game on Tonight, It’s sad that the Viking’s Metrodome roof collapsed, but the real crime is that the Vikings Giants game is not on TV tonight for most people. The reason as reported by the Baltimore Sun is that Fox and ESPN could not reach an agreement about who would air it. ESPN has the exclusive rights to Monday Night Football, and since the Sunday game is now on Monday, they needed to agree to let Fox broadcast it as they were originally scheduled to do on Sunday. Evidently that did not happen as the game is nowhere to be found on TV tonight. If you are watch the Ravens-Texans game on ESPN, they are giving frequent updates as to the status of the game, but there’s nowhere to watch.
You can listen on ESPN radio, and I’m told that the NFL Network will air the game at midnight tonight, although I don’t get that channel because I’m so lucky as to have Time Warner Cable. However, it will be on NFL.com starting at midnight or as soon as the Ravens-Texans game is over, and be available for 24 hours. That is decent of them!

Bryan Danielson has been released from his contract according to a statement on WWE’s official website. Bryan, who wrestled on the first season of WWE’s new series NXT, was given the boot after participating in one of the most entertaining cliffhangers on WWE’s Monday Night Raw.
The statement read, “WWE has come to terms on the release of NXT first season rookie Daniel Bryan (Bryan Danielson) as of today June 11, 2010. We wish Daniel Bryan the best in all future endeavors.”
Hours before the release Bryan changed his Twitter account back to his real name. Daniel Bryan was his performing name in the WWE. The last entry was “Just changed my twitter name to Bryan Danielson. The winds of change are stirring.”
Many speculate that Bryan’s firing might not be real. Dave Meltzer on the Wrestling Observer said it was hard to believe that his firing as legit, even though “those in the company insist it is.” Meltzer then went on to report that higher-up executives were made aware of the firing before it was made public, the same process that has happened in the past when other wrestlers were let go.
Mike Johnson over at PWinsider reports that Daniel Bryan’s release is legit and that Bryan’s actions during the Monday Night Raw segment was the reason for the release. Many felt that his choking out ring announcer Justin Roberts with his tie violated the PG-rating standards the company has been striving to achieve.
On Monday Night all the NXT Rookies, including Daniel Bryan, ransacked the ring area. They completely destroyed the ring’s padding and announcers table. They also took part in the beat down of wrestler John Cena. The segment had shades of WCW’s NWO angle from 10 years ago and was well received by the viewing audience.

The WEE Draft 2010 took place last night on Monday Night Raw and it was an extended three hour show. There were matches between Raw and Smackdown to help determine the drawing.
The first person that was drawn was Kelly Kelly from the Divas who was randomly picked to go to Smackdown. Following the first pick, Smackdown had the next one as well as took The Big Show.
To determine the next three draft picks, a ten-man battle royal took place to decide which team would get it. The wrestlers were Smackdown’s Kane, Rey Mysterio, R-Truth, Drew McIntyre and Shad Gaspard going against Raw’s MVP, Mark Henry, Yoshi Tatsu, Ted DiBiase and Santino Marella.
The Raw team won as DiBiase was the one who finished it for them. Raw then drafted John Morrison, R-Truth and Edge.
The next draft pick was to be determined with the winner between Chris Jericho and Christian. Jericho won so Smackdown drafted Kofi Kingston.
The next match for the next pick was between World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger fighting against John Morrison. Swagger won and Christian was taken by Smackdown.
The last match was between Hornswoggle and Dolph Ziggler and the little guy won so Chris Jericho was drafted to Raw.

The Saints vs. Patriots is a good game on two different fronts, including their overall records and their prolific offensive statistics so far in 2009. When the two teams take the field on Monday night, it is going to be a shoot-out between Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and Saints quarterback Drew Brees. Both of these QB’s want to walk away with the win, but more importantly the victory could set up the winning team to be in prime position for a first round bye in the 2009 NFL Playoffs. Right now the Saints are the top seed in the NFC, but Minnesota is only one game behind them. In the AFC Indianapolis leads things, but several other teams are already 8-3, meaning that New England needs this win to keep pace.
So far in 2009, the New Orleans Saints are 10-0 and the New England Patriots are sitting at 7-3. New England lost a close game to Indianapolis earlier in the season that they could have won, but other than that, this is the toughest game for both teams on the 2009 NFL schedule. New England would like nothing more than to end the winning streak that the Saints have going, and the Saints want to prove that they belong among the elite teams in the NFL by taking one from one of the best teams in the NFL this decade. This game could prove to be a passing of the torch if Drew Brees can put up some great numbers.
With two great offenses taking the field on Monday, this game could come down to which team can make the key defensive stops. Both offenses are going to put up the points, and that will make it very important for someone on defense to take a step forward and make some big plays. The kick-off for the New England vs. New Orleans Monday night game is at 5:30 P.M. PST, and this is a game that is going to interest football fans from Spokane, Washington all the way to Miami, Florida because it is geared up to be some great television.

Many are eager to see Favre face his old teammates. This is the game Favre has been waiting for since leaving Green Bay. It took him a year, but Favre finally gets to go up against the Packers on the field.

Monday Night Football Tonight:We recently published a post — that we deleted after about 45 seconds — recommending a play on the Dolphins +3 over the Colts in tonight’s Monday Night Football matchup that was primarily reasoned backward from the notion that a play on the Colts looks too easy tonight. We reversed course because we realized moments after publishing that it’s not what we, or anyone in Cleveland needs to be doing tonight, pulling for a football team with an offensive attack that looks as much like the Browns’ as the attack of these Dolphins does. So let’s reason backward from somewhere else.We were inclined to think that the Dolphins couldn’t turn the ball over four times again this week, or be as unlucky as to lose three fumbles — two by tight end Anthony Fasano — like they did in their season opener last week in Atlanta. But then we realized that that’s just the kind of crap that happens to a team that can’t/won’t throw the ball downfield. The defense knows the ball’s going to go underneath, and POP! It’s hard enough to pull for one such team in a week to overcome this kind of weakness. Twice in one week ought to require a really good reason.
Jaguars Taylor FootballTonight, we have no such reason. We know in Cleveland how quickly it can be back to the toilet after a 10+ win season fresh out. Peyton Manning will be playing in his happy place, Land Shark Stadium, where he won his Superbowl. And it’s a made for TV Monday Night Football anniversary. We know that Peyton loves the camera, and the camera loves Peyton. Especially when there’s no playoff pressure in the air.
The “looks too easy” crowd was served plenty last Monday night. Tonight, it will feel good to be on the side of the forward pass, no matter how easy that choice might be going in. Colts -3 over the Dolphins (3 units).
