Leadville 100 Mountain Bike Race, On Saturday the Leadville Trail 100 mt. bike race will be available to view via live webcast for $5.95 on the Leadville Trail 100 website. If you are really into mountain biking or ultra marathons it would probably be a good purchase.
The Leadville Trail 100 is an ultramarathon started in 1983 through the heart of the Rocky Mountains. If you have to run for 100 miles, there probably isn’t a better place to do it.
The mountain bike race this year should be interesting as it is Lance’s first race since his loss in the Tour last month. He got second in this race last year and this year he is poised to do better and will try to beat last years winner.
National Hurricane Center
National Hurricane Center, Hurricane Guillermo formed far out in the Pacific Ocean on Friday.
Guillermo’s maximum sustained winds reached near 80 mph (130 kph) with little further strengthening expected, the U.S. National Hurricane Center in Miami said. It was expected to weaken Saturday as it moves over cooler water.
At 8 a.m. PDT (1400 GMT), Guillermo was centered about 1,180 miles (1,900 kilometers) west-southwest of the southern tip of Mexico’s Baja California peninsula.

Milford Oyster Festival
Milford Oyster Festival, 35th Annual Milford Oyster Festival, begins on Friday night.
Wine and Oyster Tasting is going to be double the size compare to last year. Tomorrow we are going to have 80 nonprofits selling things on the Green. Our bands are going to be a smash hit. And our classic car show is something people tend to forget, but it’s a huge car show, Jay Pinto said.
Saturday’s Food Court at Fowler Field will offer a wide selection, including foot long hot dogs, lobster rolls, crab cakes, corn on the cob, clam chowder, fried clams, fried oysters, fried shrimp, fresh clams, fried dough, crab rolls, and grinders.
