44 passengers’s Suffered in Afghanistan plane crashes at salang 17th May, 2010
An Afghan passenger plane carrying 44 people, including six foreigners, as a marital plane crashed Monday near the Salang Pass north of the capital, officials said. There was no immediate word on the sick.
The plane lost radio contact in flight from the capital Kabul and the northern city of Kunduz. It had 38 passengers and five crew members, Interior Ministry spokesman Zemarai Bashary told PTI.
“We can confrim that a plane has gone down over the Salang mountain with 38 passengers and five crew members on board,” Bashary said.
It was foreigners who travel on the plane, he said. The fate of those aboard was not immediately clear.

Raised in Manhattan, Salinger began writing short stories while in secondary school, and published several stories in the early 1940s before serving in World War II.
