Hrithik, Farhan and Abhay Deol sing for Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara

By now its common knowledge that Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar and Abhay Deol would be seen together in Zoya Akhtar’s eagerly awaited film Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. However, what many people don’t know is the fact that besides acting, the trio of Hrithik, Farhan and Abhay have also sung a song in the film.
While Farhan is no amateur when it comes to singing (having sung most of the songs in his debut flick Rock On) and even Hrithik has done his fair share of singing (in films like Kites and Guzaarish), it was only Abhay Deol for whom this was a completely new experience. Nevertheless the ‘Dev D’ actor did manage to croon a few lines.
The song composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy has already been recorded and the musical trio certainly seem pleased with the singing efforts of Hrithik, Farhan and Abhay. This one surely will be one of the songs to look forward to next year.

Is Abhi-Ash jodi no longer hot and happening?

A leading newspaper carried a story yesterday on how the Abhi-Ash jodi is no longer considered ‘Hot’ in the trade circles after the debacle of Raavan. The duo had a lot of hopes on this Mani Ratnam biggie but it all came crashing down as the film turned out to be one big turkey at the ticket window.
Now, a lot of filmmakers are having two minds in casting the husband-wife duo together. Rajiv Menon, who was supposed to start his musical Dhun with Abhi-Ash, is yet to kick-start his project. While we really don’t know the reasons behind the delay of that film, what we would like to know from you – the junta janardhan- is whether you indeed feel that the Abhi-Ash jodi has lost all fizz or are you still excited to watch them together on the big screen.
