David Banner, After regaining control of their health spiral in 2008, rapper David Banner has partnered with PumpOne interactive fitness company to invent a new iPhone / iPod application of weight loss. The new application, called “Work Out David Banner or Die”, will provide subscribers with the regimens of exercise and weight loss tips Banner found effective in their struggle to adopt a healthy lifestyle. Banner, after the time at 225 pounds, was put into an exercise regime that allowed him drop 57 pounds within three months. Urgent health concerns, including sleep apnea, high blood pressure and the threat of diabetes caused weight loss in an emergency for the southern rapper.
“People are really interested in how I lost weight,” Banner told AllHipHop. Banner says the number of friends and fans who sought his advice on weight loss tips with success led him to create a program to effectively share their strategies. “One of my friends who works at Apple said:” You need to take your people and stop talking about it. You are helping people’s lives. It is a way for you to continue this movement. “And I decided to do it.”
PumpOne, a fully rounded, incorporating traditional books, physical therapy and fitness programs, launched its first iPhone application in 2008. The company has partnered with several fitness magazines in an attempt to launch user-friendly applications, eliminating the hassle of collecting fitness advice from different publishers.
