LONDON; Madonna will go on tour from May for the first time in three years, starting in Israel before moving on to Europe, with legs in South America and Australia, where she has not performed for 20 years, tour promotion company Live Nation said on Tuesday.
The 2012 World Tour will be the first for the Grammy Award-winning 53-year-old Material Girl since her “Sticky & Sweet Tour” in 2008 and 2009 and will stop in more than 20 European and Middle Eastern cities including London, Edinburgh, Paris, Milan, Abu Dhabi and Berlin.
The tour starts on May 29 in Tel Aviv and then visits Abu Dhabi and Istanbul in early June before moving on to Europe. The European leg concludes on August 21st in Nice, France and the North American leg will end in Miami, with the date yet to be confirmed, the company said in a statement.
Dates for the South American and Australian legs and locations were not yet set and additional cities and venues are to be announced, they added.
The announcement came just days after Madonna’s halftime performance at the Super Bowl on Feb 5, with a record 114 million people tuning in to watch the glitzy, Cleopatra-themed show, which was lauded by critics but resulted in an apology from television network NBC and the NFL for a rude gesture made by British hip hop star M.I.A. during the show. What Channel is The Vikings Game on Tonight, It’s sad that the Viking’s Metrodome roof collapsed, but the real crime is that the Vikings Giants game is not on TV tonight for most people. The reason as reported by the Baltimore Sun is that Fox and ESPN could not reach an agreement about who would air it. ESPN has the exclusive rights to Monday Night Football, and since the Sunday game is now on Monday, they needed to agree to let Fox broadcast it as they were originally scheduled to do on Sunday. Evidently that did not happen as the game is nowhere to be found on TV tonight. If you are watch the Ravens-Texans game on ESPN, they are giving frequent updates as to the status of the game, but there’s nowhere to watch.
You can listen on ESPN radio, and I’m told that the NFL Network will air the game at midnight tonight, although I don’t get that channel because I’m so lucky as to have Time Warner Cable. However, it will be on NFL.com starting at midnight or as soon as the Ravens-Texans game is over, and be available for 24 hours. That is decent of them!

Limbaugh, 59, is set to marry the 33-year-old Rogers next week in an intimate ceremony at his beachfront compound.
Limbaugh didn’t confirm any details but asked for privacy in an email to Page2Live.
“We try to live our lives as normal people,” Limbaugh wrote. “We do NOT seek media attention, we do not want it, especially for this. It is very special, obviously, and we just don’t want any media attention.”
Rogers, a VIP liaison on the last two super bowls in South Florida, has been sporting a blinding sparkler on her ring finger for more than a year now.
No word yet on the guest list, menu or dress code but stay tuned.Kathryn, a VIP event planner, said she wanted somebody with a lot of experiences in life, and that, she have found with Rush Limbaugh. “Rush has such amazing experience”, she says from an interview. The Dow Jones Industrial average touched its worse intraday loss since the 1987 market crash Thursday as European financial worries triggered a mass selloff. However, stocks have quickly pared a large chunk of the losses as strong buyers rushed into stocks.
The blue-chip average breached key technical levels that caused traders to hit the sell button, driving the Dow down below the 10,000 mark briefly. The move was violent and quick and the turnaround was just as strong, as the Dow has pared more than half of its intraday decline.
The average is now trading lower by 340 points at 10,527 coming into the closing minutes of Thursday’s session.
The whipsaw trading action caused the market volatility index, which generally tracks investor fear, to surge 60 percent after sitting at monthly lows coming into the week.
“We don’t know, right now we’re looking into it,” New York Stock Exchange spokesman Christian Braakman said. “It’s all speculation.”
Earlier Thursday, a spokeswoman for the International Monetary Fund had tried to head off panic over Greece’s debt crisis, saying a default was out of the question

Former New York Giants great Lawrence Taylor was arrested for rape in New York, CBS 2 has learned.
Taylor, 51, was taken into custody by the Town of Ramapo police after being accused of raping someone in the Holiday Inn Holidome Hotel in Suffern.
Details surrounding the rape have not yet been released other than the location and that it occurred early this morning. Charges against the Hall of Fame linebacker will be filed once police complete their investigation.
A news conference is expected later Thursday afternoon where police will reveal more details.
Taylor, affectionately known by his fans as “L.T.,” spent his entire career with the Giants and is considered one of the greatest defensive players in NFL history. He was named Defensive Player of the Year three times and won the Most Valuable Player award in 1986.
His personal life has been marred by trouble before. He’s admitted to using cocaine during his NFL career, and was suspended several times by the league for failing drug tests.
After retiring, his problems with drug use continued and he was jailed on three separate occasions on drug charges, but cleaned himself up and said he had been sober since 1998. He starred in the feature film “Any Given Sunday” in 1999 as “Luther ‘Shark’ Lavay,” and has worked as a color commentator over the years as well.
Police listed Taylor as a resident of Pembroke, Fla.

Tony Little (born September 16, 1956) is an American television fitness personality and businessman, best known for his fitness infomercial products.
Little is a certified personal trainer and identifies himself as “America’s Personal Trainer”. He is known for his over-the-top, hyper-enthusiastic personality and long blonde ponytail. Four of Little’s favorite catchphrases are “You can do it,” “It’s technique!,” “Always believe in yourself” and “Conceive, Believe and Achieve”. Little’s infomercials have generated more than $4 billion in sales globally. Little averages about 6,000 hours a year on TV.
Little is a former Mr. Florida and Junior National Bodybuilding champion. In 1983, while training for The Mr. America Bodybuilding Championship, he was involved in a car accident and suffered numerous physical injuries. He suffered lacerations to his face and body and two herniated discs, a cracked vertebra, and a dislocated knee. He recovered enough to compete in the event and finished in fifth place. Little has stated publicly that afterward he suffered from depression and became addicted to corn dogs and gained weight.
During his recovery Little began developing exercise programs and became successful in the fitness industry. His book One on One with Tony Little: The Complete 28-Day Body Sculpting And Weight Loss Program has sold thousands of copies. His fitness videos have won 14 Platinum Awards, 9 gold video awards, and over 47 million customers. His products are sold by retailers worldwide, including HSN and QVC. His most notable product is the “Gazelle” by Fitness Quest.
In 1997, he appeared as himself, making fun of his own image, on The Weird Al Show. The following year, he once again parodied himself on the Fox show MADtv.
Little revealed on a July 9 HSN broadcast of One on One with Tony Little that he would be turning 50 in September 2006.Little appeared in the 2006 film The Pumpkin Karver.Little has appeared on VH1’s Best Year Ever 2007.Little appeared on NFL Countdown on December 7, 2008. 2010 NFL Draft: LeGarrette Blount goes undrafted
A year of turmoil proved too much for former Oregon running back LeGarrette Blount to overcome in the eyes of the NFL.
Blount, projected by some experts as a potential third-round pick before last season began, was not selected during the seven-round, three-day NFL Draft held Thursday through today.
All is not lost, however. Blount likely will sign with a team as an undrafted rookie free agent. But falling out of the draft certainly was not expected by many.
Blount watched the draft from his hometown of Perry, Fl. Capturing his experience were ESPN cameras set up in his parent’s home. Early in the sixth round, ESPN checked in on Blount who was laying on a couch with his eyes closed.
The good news for Blount is that he now can select a team to sign with that will provide him with the best opportunity to succeed in a role as a power back.

Joe Webb is still waiting to hear his name called in the NFL draft
The wait continues for former UAB standout Joe Webb.
Webb was thought to fit somewhere in between the third round and fifth round in the NFL draft. Well, the fifth round just ended and Webb has yet to be selected.
The Pittsburgh Steelers were one of the teams that showed the most pre-draft attention to Webb. The Steelers had a fourth-round pick, three fifth-round picks and another fifth round pick they traded to the Arizona Cardinals. The Steelers used none of those picks on Webb.
If he does get picked, Webb won’t be the first quarterback turned receiver to go in this year’s draft. That honor went to Appalachian State’s Armanti Edwards, who was selected by the Carolina Panthers in the third round (89th overall pick) on Saturday
