Lahore: Main procession initiating from Nisar Haveli is on its way
The main Muharram procession which initiates from Nisar Haveli, Lahore is still ongoing and strict security measures have been ensured along the route of this procession.
This procession of 9th and 10th Muharram was originated from Nisar Haveli at 9.30 pm and thousands of mourners are participating in it. Water and milk stands for the mourners have been placed at various points on the route of this procession. This procession will reach Rang Mahal during afternoon where prayers will be offered. After which this procession will continue its journey till it ends at Karbala Gamay Shah at Namaz-e-Maghrib. According to CCPO Lahore, more than 20,000 policemen have been deployed along the route of this procession.
Govt should mend its ways: Nisar
Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Thursday called upon the Government to mend its ways.
Addressing the NA session, Nisar said Pakistan Muslim League Nawas has not demanded any unconstitutional step for the change, we have even not called for mid-term polls or Martial Law.
However, he affirmed that his faction could be a hindrance for government if rulers continued their unparliamentarily attitude.
He said the Pakistan Peoples Party should detach its ministers from the Punjab cabinet if the ruling party has objections over the provincial government. Chaudhry Nisar had declared on Monday that midterm polls could be one of the options to get rid of the present rulers.Mid-term election is an option. Whenever there is talk about this, hue and cry is started in power corridors, the opposition leader said while talking to reporters outside the Parliament House.This was for the first time that the PML-N has talked about the possibility of mid-term elections in clear terms.

ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court of Pakistan has summoned Khyber-Pakhtoonkhwas Minister for Prisons, Mian Nisar Gul Kakakhel, the main accused in kidnapping of a teenage girl, on May 28, ARY NEWS reports.

Pakistan’s two boxers Nisar Khan and Muhammad Waseem made their exit in the quarterfinals of AIBA China Open Boxing Championship in Guiyang (China). Host pugilists and Asian Champion Zhang Jian Ting out-punched Nisar Khan of Pakistan in 12-2 in 75 KG weight division.
While in light flyweight division Beijing Olympics Silver medalist Hernendez Andrias of Cuba out-pointed Muhammad Waseem 4-2.

Govt Using Reforms Committee on Judges Issue: Nisar
ISLAMABAD, Pakistan News: Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has said that he has never accused anyone of corruption and nobody should take revenge from the country’s system for his sins.
Speaking at the National Assembly today, he said no elected president has ever pointed fingers at the state organs. “If the government is ready for dangal (wrestling), then the opposition will also challenge it,” he said.
On the issue of judges’ appointment, a heated debate broke out between Opposition leader Chaudhry Nisar Ali and NA Speaker Dr Fehmida Mirza.
Khan said that there was no justification to sit in the house if the Speaker intercepted his speech.
The PML-N leader said the government wants to use the parliamentary committee on constitutional reforms regarding appointment of judges.
“There is a wall of mistrust among us, he said, adding the government has still got time to set its course.”

PML-N not withdraw demands of President’s resign
Lahore, Pakistan News :- Pakistan’s two major parties have failed to come out with a clear policy as the top leadership of both PPP and PML-N remain silent on major issues while the second tier leadership is continuously accusing each other and giving hard-line statements.
Opposition Leader in National Assembly and senior leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said on Tuesday that his party will not demand President Zardari to resign if the government acts upon Supreme Court’s verdict. He said Presidential spokesman has no right to announce policy statement of PML-N. He was talking to newsmen in Islamabad.
Commenting on Farhatullah Babar’s statement that PML-N has assured of not demanding President’s resignation, Ch. Nisar said his party can’t guarantee anyone for not demanding President Asif Ali Zardari to resign. “Farhatullah Babar’s statement is absolutely absurd.” He said PML-N doesn’t want to confront the government. “It was very easy for us to give irrational statements but we decided against it for the stability of the country.” Nisar said cases have been proved against Pakistan People’s Party leaders in the country and abroad.

Creator of NRO will be brought to justice: Ch Nisar
Lahore, Pakistan:- Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) parliamentarians took out a protest rally from Parliament House to the Supreme Court against steps taken of November 3, 2007.
The rally was lead by Opposition Leader Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan in which PPP and JUI ministers also participated. PML-N parliamentarians had tied black ribbons on arms and carried placards. They shouted slogans against former president Pervez Musharraf, NRO and 17th amendment. Addressing the protest gathering outside SC, Makhdom Javed Hashmi said that they got judiciary freed and now they would get parliament freed too. We don’t want 17th amendment, NRO and Kerry-Lugar Bill, he added. Khawja Saad Rafique said that struggle for judiciary’s independence would continue till parliament is freed and presidential authority is cut to size. The protest demanded Musharraf’s trial under article 6. Syed Khurshid Shah, Babar Awan, Rehmatullah Kakar and Ayutullah Durrani also attended the protest rally.
Separately, Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah termed November 3 as a sad and black day in history of Pakistan. Addressing a press conference in Lahore, Sanaullah maintained that NRO had gone and would never be presented in parliament. Minister stressed that his party wasn’t in favor of any unconstitutional action or midterm election. He said that PML-N believed Musharraf should be hanged on which PPP also raised slogan that friend of dictator is a traitor.
