ABBOTABAD: Leaders and activists of Movement for Hazara Province will march toward Barian, the border town of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where they will set up a signboard inscribed with “Welcome to Hazara Province.”
Baba Haider Zaman, the convener of the movement, will lead the rally.
After installation of the Hazara board, Baba Zaman and other prominent leaders including former federal ministers Gohar Ayub and Amanullah Khan, will address the gathering.
It may be mentioned here that Hazara belt is demanding a separate province after renaming North West Frontier Province (NWFP) to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Trend Pk
SBP To Launch Credit Guarantee Scheme For Small Enterprises
Governor State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Syed Salim Raza will launch a Credit Guarantee Scheme for Small and Rural Enterprises, under the Financial Inclusion Programme (FIP) at a ceremony being held at SBP Learning Resource Centre Auditorium on March 19.
According to a statement of SBP, Raza will also announce a Refinance Scheme for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in North West Frontier Province (NWFP), Federally Administered Tribal Area (FATA) and Gilgit-Baltistan (GB).
These schemes are aimed at enhancing the flow of credit to the SME and agriculture sectors with greater emphasis on revitalisation of business activities in the troubled areas of NWFP and FATA, beside Gilgit-Baltistan.
First Batch of Hajj Pilgrims Returns
ISLAMABAD, Pakistan news: The first batch of 340 Hajj pilgrims returned to Islamabad from Jeddah by a PIA flight.
The relatives of the pilgrims and PIA officials received the pilgrims from PIA flight PK-742 at Islamabad airport.
PIA had transported 127,379 pilgrims to the holy land through 293 hajj flights and regular scheduled flights.
The security arrangements for return of the Hajj pilgrims have been completed at Islamabad airport.

Suicide Bomber kills Politician in Swat
PESHAWAR , Pakistan News: A suicide bomber on Tuesday killed a member of Pakistan’s northwest provincial assembly and his brother in Swat valley.
The bomber, who was on foot, targeted a guest house owned by Shamsher Ali Khan, a member of the Awami National Party (ANP), which dominates the North West Frontier Province (NWFP) assembly.
“Dr Shamsher Ali Khan and his brother were killed in the suicide attack,” Swat police chief Qazi Ghulam Farooq told.
Spin Zada, a doctor at a local government hospital, confirmed that two bodies including that of Khan were brought to the hospital, and said 11 people were also wounded in the blast.
It hit in Kanju town, about 30 kilometres (18 miles) northwest of Swat’s main hub Mingora.

Taliban Bomb Pak CD Shops: ISLAMABAD: Militants Wednesday bombed some shops selling Compact Discs (CD) in the restive North West Frontier Province, a media report said. Shops in Dir Bala area of NWFP were targeted, Geo TV said. No casualties have been reported. The Taliban is known to be against various forms of entertainment, including film songs and movies. The Pakistani army has stepped up its assault in South Waziristan against the Taliban, which has vowed retaliation. The rebels are particularly incensed by US drone strikes, one of which had killed then Pakistani Taliban chief Baitullah Mehsud in early August.
