SC orders CDA to finish off Senator Nair Bukharis occupation of land

The Supreme Court has ordered CDA to put an end to the occupation of Leader of the House in the Senate Nair Bukhari from 80 kanals land in Banigala Islamabad. The court has also ordered CDA chairman to submit report in the next hearing.

A three-member bench of the Supreme Court led by CJP Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry heard the suo moto notice case about illegal occupation of land in Banigala Islamabad. The suo moto notice was taken over a letter written to the court by Imran Khan in which it was said that Leader of the House in the Senate Nair Bukhari and his relative had occupied 80 kanals land in Banigala Islamabad. Nair Bukhari was also present in the court room on court notice while CDA chairman also didnt deny the occupation of land by Nair Bukhari. WASHINGTON: The planetary system is believed to be the largest ever detected beyond the sun.

Astronomers have confirmed the presence of five planets and have tantalising evidence of two more.

BAGHDAD: A suicide truck bomber killed at least 11 people and wounded 34 others on Wednesday in an attack on a police station in the Iraqi capital, security sources said.

The blast took place in Baghdad’s northern Qahira district, an Interior Ministry source and police sources said.

The bomber blew the truck up near the police station, causing part of the building to collapse and severely damaging surrounding houses, the Interior Ministry source said.

Iraq is on high alert for insurgent attacks after an inconclusive March election produced no clear winner and left the country adrift in political uncertainty at a time when U.S. troops are preparing to end combat operations on Aug. 31.

Ali Gilani extends ‘quit Kashmir’ campaign for 10 days

SRINAGAR: In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani has extended the ‘quit Kashmir’ campaign for more 10 days. Syed Ali Gilani said that the occupation authorities were trying to suppress the movement by preparing to hold Panchayat and Municipal elections, adding that such tactics would have dangerous consequences.

The calendar includes relaxations on Fridays and next Wednesday besides deal in shutdown from 5:00pm to 7:00am on coming Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. The protest calendar was issued after a meeting of the forum patronised by him.

Kashmiri leaders under house arrest on Human Rights Day

SRINAGAR: In occupied Kashmir, the occupation authorities, today, put the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Shabbir Ahmad Shah, Nayeem Ahmad Khan and other Hurriyet leaders and activists under house arrest, while renowned human rights activists, Muhammad Ahsan Untoo, Firdaus Ahmad Shah and other liberation leaders and activists were arrested and locked up in different police stations.

The All Parties Hurriyet Conference is holding a rally in Srinagar, today, from the APHC headquarters in Rajbagh to the Municipal Park under the leadership of APHC Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq.

The objective of the rally is to draw the world attention towards the gross human rights violations perpetrated by Indian troops to suppress Kashmiris’ liberation struggle.

The occupation authorities have deployed large contingents of Indian police personnel in the area and installed barricades to stop the liberation leaders and activists from holding a peaceful rally on the occasion of International Human Right Day.

On the other hand, complete strike is being observed in Shopian against the continued human rights violations by the Indian troops.

b834a4b63fashmir Curfew in Srinagar, Strike held in KashmirISLAMABAD: Undeclared curfew has been imposed on the third phase of Indian parliamentary elections being held tomorrow, while people of occupied Kashmir are observing complete strike against holding of sham polls in occupied Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the occupation authorities have put the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, senior Kashmiri Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani, APHC leaders, Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi and Nayeem Ahmad Khan under house arrest.

All the roads leading to Srinagar city have been blocked and the troops do not allow the people to enter the city.On the other hand, protest demonstrations continued in Sopore against the arrest of innocent Kashmiri youth by Indian troops.

In Srinagar Central Jail, a youth Shakil Ahmad Salora died due to sub-standard food and negligence by the jail ministration.
