Senators concerned over a notification of NWFP Govt
ISLAMABAD: Senator Ghulam Ali Wednesday apprised the Senate that the provincial government of NWFP has asked people through a notification that all those who belong to other districts and living in Peshawar should leave the provincial capital within week.
While speaking in the Senate on a point of order he expressed concern over the matter, and said the province was already facing problems due to protest in Hazara and other districts of NWFP and such notification would further aggravate the situation.
Senator Prof. Ibrahim also endorsed his view point and demanded of the Federal government to take notice of this grave issue.
ANP Senator Zahid Khan said that he was unaware of the notification but he assured the House that he would talk to the provincial government regarding the notification if any.
He further said that if some one had issued such notification would be charged.

Kashmiris observing Jammu Martyrs Day
Kashmiris are observing Jammu Martyrs Day across the world including Azad and Occupied Kashmir today.
Various ceremonies will be held in Azad Kashmir’s capital Muzaffarabad in connection with the day and protest rallies will be taken out. Raja Farooq Haider, Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir, will address a gathering organized on state level. Gatherings will be organized in other districts of Azad Kashmir too. The observance of this day aims at condemning tyrannical massacre of Muslims in Jammu in 1947 by India and paying tribute to sacrifices of martyrs. Indian army and police had murdered 125,000 Muslims in four weeks on the call of Maharaja Dogara.
