Sarah Palin won’t run for president in 2012
On Wednesday, the former vice-presidential candidate and the acknowledged star of the Republican Party Sarah Palin finally announced that she is not going to run for the presidency in 2012. A day before that another Republican hopeful, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie also announced his decision not to run.
The former Alaska governor’s supporters founded a group called Organize4Palin to build a grassroots network and essentially campaign for her: go to county meetings, stump for Palin with politically connected Iowans, and form a loose campaign structure for what they saw as an inevitable Palin campaign. It turned out not to be.
Sarah Palin made her decision known Wednesday releasing a statement to ABC News and telling radio host Mark Levin that she will not enter the presidential race. Wednesday evening she told Greta Van Susteren on Fox News that she “apologize(s) to those disappointed” with her decision saying that she had heard from them over the last few hours and hopes they understand “you don’t need a title to make a difference in this country.”
As the news broke that she would not run those supporters that were the most invested said they were “disappointed,” but had “no regrets.”
What is questionable, though, is whether the Republicans will be able to come up with an electable candidate. Until recently there seemed to be only too viable contenders – Mitt Romney and Rick Perry, with chances for Chris Christie to intervene and change the scene. After Christie’s decision not to run, one would suppose that the field has narrowed to two candidates. But then unexpectedly businessman and columnist, former chairman and CEO of Godfather’s Pizza Herman Cain made a strong showing at some Republican caucuses, and now he is considered to be on equals if not ahead of Rick Perry whose support has faltered.
The problem is that Republican primaries starting next January and the general elections in November are very different. And the candidate most liked by the party and Republican-leaning independents might not be as welcomed by the majority of general voters. Therefore, winning the party nomination may play a trick on the frontrunner preventing him from winning the votes of the center, which will inevitably determine the general outcome.
Perry, who has dropped in the polls recently following unimpressive debate performances, issued a statement calling Palin “a good friend, a great American and a true patriot. I respect her decision and know she will continue to be a strong voice for conservative values and needed change in Washington.”
The man who picked her as his running mate in 2008, Sen. John McCain of Arizona, said on Twitter that Palin will “continue to play an important role in our party and for our nation.”
Later, the former Alaska governor told Fox News Channel’s Greta Van Susteren, “You don’t need a title to make a difference in this country.”
Palin urged voters not to wait for perfection from the current Republican field of contenders.
“There is no one perfect candidate, and I want people to keep that in mind and not be extremely disappointed in a politician,” she said.

After much prayer and serious consideration, I have decided that I will not be seeking the 2012 GOP nomination for President of the United States. As always, my family comes first and obviously Todd and I put great consideration into family life before making this decision. When we serve, we devote ourselves to God, family and country. My decision maintains this order.
My decision is based upon a review of what common sense Conservatives and Independents have accomplished, especially over the last year. I believe that at this time I can be more effective in a decisive role to help elect other true public servants to office – from the nation’s governors to Congressional seats and the Presidency. We need to continue to actively and aggressively help those who will stop the “fundamental transformation” of our nation and instead seek the restoration of our greatness, our goodness and our constitutional republic based on the rule of law.
From the bottom of my heart I thank those who have supported me and defended my record throughout the years, and encouraged me to run for President. Know that by working together we can bring this country back – and as I’ve always said, one doesn’t need a title to help do it.
I will continue driving the discussion for freedom and free markets, including in the race for President where our candidates must embrace immediate action toward energy independence through domestic resource developments of conventional energy sources, along with renewables. We must reduce tax burdens and onerous regulations that kill American industry, and our candidates must always push to minimize government to strengthen the economy and allow the private sector to create jobs.
Those will be our priorities so Americans can be confident that a smaller, smarter government that is truly of the people, by the people, and for the people can better serve this most exceptional nation.
In the coming weeks I will help coordinate strategies to assist in replacing the President, re-taking the Senate, and maintaining the House.

Selena Gomez hosting another awards show

Gomez was recently announced as the host for the show that will take place in Ireland on November 6th, states Just Jared.
“I’m so excited to be the host of the 2011 MTV EMA – it’s a dream come true,” Gomez commented in a statement.
She most recently co-hosted the red carpet events at the MTV Video Music Awards.

Breaking News: Former Governor of state Alaska Sarah Palin claims that she is the victim of “blood libel,” a reference to the anti-Semitic claim that Jews sacrifice Christian children. 
A Jewish woman got a bullet through her brain, but the former Governor is casting herself as the victim because some people have criticized her. The “blood libel” allegation is especially rich coming from someone who repeatedly insisted that health care reform would create the “death panels” to kill the elderly, and disabled the children. Sarah Palin wrote last week:
“The America I know and love is not one in which my parents or my baby with Down syndrome will have to stand in front of Obama’s ‘death panel’ so his bureaucrats can decide, based on a subjective judgment of their ‘level of productivity in society,’ whether they are worthy of health care. Such a system is downright evil.”
Sarah Palin recorded a video in response to Tucson shooting, the tragedy happened on Saturday. In response to the criticism she’s received for using gun sights on a map of congressional districts. The Jewish groups and others reacted swiftly; Plain had associated her political plight with centuries of anti-Semitic behavior. A “blood libel” is actually a term that keeps the minds back to the middle Ages, when in religious rituals. Jewish people were accused of using the blood of Christians.

THE AFL has beaten rival codes to secure the signature of rugby league superstar Israel Folau, who is set to join the Greater Western Sydney team.
AFL sources yesterday confirmed that Folau, a Brisbane Broncos player, had agreed to cross from rugby league – following the trail blazed by Gold Coast recruit Karmichael Hunt – and sign a massive multi-million dollar contract with the incoming GWS team coached by Kevin Sheedy.
An announcement on Folau’s defection will be made at a press conference today. Folau, 21, a state-of-origin representative for Queensland, has been weighing up his future, having rejected advances from the Melbourne Rebels, the incoming rugby union Super 15 team, narrowing the choice to either the NRL or the AFL, which has made plain its interest in Folau, whom it views as a league player capable of making the transition to the AFL.
While Folau’s signing will cost the AFL and its expansion team in western Sydney millions – as much as $3 million over three years – the AFL has already seen enormous benefits from the Hunt recruitment in terms of generating publicity and awareness of its presence in Queensland and NSW and it believes that Folau can provide similar impetus in Sydney.
Folau’s package will easily exceed his offer from rugby union’s Rebels, who had offered him about $600,000 a season.
Like Hunt, his huge wage will sit outside the new team’s salary cap. The Broncos had been concerned only about the far deeper pockets of the AFL and the expansion team it funds.
”Not to be disrespectful but we weren’t that worried about the rugby contract,” Broncos chief executive Bruno Cullen said on Sunday. ”We always thought we were coming second so nothing has really changed in that respect.

The creator of the spoof claims Kendra herself has seen the videos and “couldn’t stop laughing”.
Playboy model Kendra Wilkinson will address internet rumors about her sex tape during a segment on her E! reality series “Kendra”.NyDailyNews reports that during the segment Kendra will say about the sex tape, “It bothers me because people are going to judge me”.
There is no denying that Kendra Wilkinson stars in the sex tape “Kendra Exposed”. The shocker is she knew they existed. There were rumors that Kendra herself was trying to shop the tape around under a fake company. Reportedly Kendra will end up making half the earnings from the sales – which by all accounts is doing pretty well right now.
“Of course we had sex like every couple does and every now and then we would videotape it. There’s a lot of couples who do that,” Kendra is quoted as saying. “At that time I wasn’t a celebrity. I didn’t even know I was going to become a celebrity.”

First, he said, in what was seen as a gesture of defiance, that his tour of Andhra Pradesh would continue. Now, Jagan Mohan Reddy says his party has sanctioned the controversial “odarpu yatra.”
Reddy, son of former Andhra chief minister YSR Reddy, met with senior Congress leader Veerappa Moily in Delhi on Tuesday morning. Reddy claims that Moily expressed “appreciation” for his tour and permitted the tour to resume. Congress sources say the permission comes with some basic guidelines, including staying away from the politically-sensitive Telangana region.
The Congress has been worried about the impact of the tour in the fraught atmosphere of Telangana, where the demand for a separate state repeatedly leads to violent demonstrations. Jagan Mohan has expressed his opposition to the creation of a new state.
Last week, as he arrived at the Warangal district, pro-Telangana campaigners clashed with the police as they expressed their opposition to Jagan’s arrival.
The Congress had asked Jagan Mohan to cancel his tour. He was summoned to Delhi on Monday to explain his position.
Jagan’s defence: that he “is not conducting this tour as a politician”, and that his heart “is free of any guilt’. The MP expressed his hope for a meeting with Sonia Gandhi -a meeting that did not 
materialize, in what some say was a sign of the party’s disapproval of his stance. Jagan Mohan, however, told reporters, “I have huge respect for Sonia Gandhi. Please do not turn this into a stand-off between the party and me.”
Jagan says that after his father died in a helicopter crash in September, he promised to visit families whose members died or killed themselves reportedly out of grief over YSR’s loss.

That was Glenn Beck talking with Sarah Palin, talking about how a reporter was getting to close to the Palin family at their Alaska home. Beck stood up for Palin, and said that a pundit should leave the families out of it.
Shortly after, Beck went after President Obama’s daughter, 11 year old Malia Obama.
On Beck’s radio show, not only did he insult Malia, but he mocked her too.

BECK (imitating Malia) Why, why, why, why, do you still let the polar bears die? Daddy, why do you still let Sarah Palin destroy the environment? Why are — Daddy, why don’t you just put her in some sort of a camp?
Beck has since apologized for his remarks about Malia. To Beck’s credit, he did own up to his hypocrisy, saying “the children of public figures should be left on the sidelines. It was a stupid mistake and I apologize–and as a dad I should have known better.

expecting George Lopez to come out on stage, but suddenly the music started and Jennifer Lopez came out cracking late-night jokes. The first joke was of course a dig at the situation going on over at NBC, and it got quite a few laughs, as she insinuated that she was replacing George Lopez because she was a bigger star. The crowd loved it as she worked into a joke about Sarah Palin.
The heart of the joke by Jennifer Lopez about Sarah Palin was that she wasn’t even the craziest person working over at Fox News. Sarah Palin had taken on her first broadcast working for Fox, and Jennifer Lopez said that Palin had a great experience because she was only the 5th or 6th craziest person around. It was a funny joke to the crowd, and wasn’t even that bad of a joke. It was a word that Jennifer Lopez used to describe Sarah Palin that is getting more attention, as she used a negative Spanish connotation to denote how she felt about Sarah Palin and quite possibly her politics.
The fallout from this story, is that several people who don’t watch Lopez Tonight, and most likely hadn’t even heard about it, went up in arms about the jokes that Jennifer Lopez decided to tell. Now it seems that Lopez is in hot water from a lot of Republicans who aren’t happy with what she had to say. Well it’s one thing to make comments like that in an open forum or in a political juncture, but we are talking about a late night sketch where Jennifer Lopez merely gave her opinion about the ex-Governor from Alaska. It wasn’t a joke that had much tact behind it, and it seems that Ms. Lopez is now suffering a blitz of bad publicity as a result.

Alaska: Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin says President Obama’s plan to overhaul health care is evil.
The former Republican vice presidential candidate posted her thoughts on Facebook.
Palin says in the America she knows, people won’t have to “stand in front of Obama’s ‘death panel’ so his bureaucrats can decide, based on a subjective judgment of their ‘level of productivity in society,’ whether they are worthy of health care.”
She says such a system is “downright evil.”
Palin resigned as Alaska governor July 26. She promised to speak out on issues but has largely been silent on both Facebook and Twitter since resigning.
