KARACHI: Five more persons have been shot dead and four have sustained injuries in various firing incidents in Karachi, Samaa reported on Saturday.
According to police sources, 35-year old Asif and another 55-year old unknown man have been shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Orangi Town. 25-year old Shah Zar has ben seriously injured in firing. The bodies of the deceased and injured were taken to Qatar Hospital.
In another incident, 22-year old Imran fell prey to an unknown gunman’s firing on Wali Road in Lyari; and 40-year old Dr. Shahbuddin sustained bullet wounds in the Paposh Nagar area of Nazimabad.
After a day of bloody unrest which killed 14 people, Karachi witnessed a relative period of lull on Friday. According to reports apart from a few isolated incidents, the law and order situation remained normal throughout the

KARACHI, Pakistan News: Blast in Karachi, Several Hurt, Several people have been wounded in a car blast at Khilafat Chowk in Paposh Nagar Karachi.
The blast took place at a time when Muharram procession was passing through Paposh Nagar.
The injured are being shifted to hospitals.
Police and rangers have reached the blast site where rescue services have been kick started.
MS Abbasi Shaheed Hospital said that 8 injured have been brought to the facility.
