This CCTV footage shows passengers riding the bus on a snowy day in Turkey. All seems normal until – to the passengers horror – a truck slams into the side of the bus. The windows implode as the bus skids off the road. And when it s all over – the driver stumbles down the stairs to safety. No one was killed in the accident – but a total of 18 passengers were injured and are being treated at a local hospital. Roadway accidents are common in Turkey – and thousands die each year due to poor road conditions and reckless driving.

In a devastating accident, 22 passengers were killed and 23 injured when their bus fell into deep trench in Utterkhand.
The accident took place when the bus fell into the deep trench due to over speed. Rescue officials pulled out 22 bodies from the bus while 23 injured passengers had been shifted to a local hospital.

Hyderabad: 5 killed in car crash
At least five people were killed while 16 others were injured when a van crashed due to over speeding near Loni Kot, Hyderabad. The van was bound for Norani from Karachi.
According to police, heavy rain was underway when the car toppled due to over speeding. Five passengers were killed on spot while the injured were rushed to District Hospital Hyderabad. Most of the injured passengers are in critical condition.
Nowshera flood victims create chaos on arrival of PML-Q leaders

PESHAWAR: A large number of Nowshera flood victims became disorderly on the arrival of Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) leaders, Chaudhry Shujaat and Mushahid Hussain.
According to details, PML-Q leaders came to visit the flood victims of Mohib Banda, Nowshera to distribute sweets and toys among the children.
After the arrival of both leaders, people congregated with hopes to meet them and give details of the problems being faced.
Due to a sudden influx of people, the situation went out of control and the gathering turned into complete turmoil. SAMAA
Kotli bus crash death toll at 17

KOTLI: At least 17 people, including six women, were killed and over 30 injured on Friday after a passenger bus plunged into a deep ravine in Kotli district of Azad Kashmir.
The accident took place near the town of Kotli, 50km south of the regional capital Muzaffarabad. The driver lost control of the bus at a turn and it fell into a deep ravine.
According to reports, some 50 passengers were aboard the bus when it rolled into a ravine.
Out of 30, four of the injured are reportedly in critical condition. All the injured have been shifted to a nearby hospital, where emergency has been declared. SAMAA
25 bus passengers killed in Afghan blast

HEART: At least 25 Afghan passengers were killed and over a dozen wounded when their bus was hit by a roadside bomb in western Afghanistan on Wednesday, the provincial governor said.
The bus was on its way from Delaram district, about 700 kms(430 miles) from the capital, Kabul, when the bomb exploded. Nearly 20 people were wounded in the blast, some of them in serious condition.
57 dead in India train crash

NEW DELHI: A speeding express rammed into the back of a stationary passenger train in eastern India on Monday, killing at least 57 people and trapping others in several badly mangled carriages.
The standing train was waiting to leave Sainthia station in Birbhum district, 260 kilometers (160 miles) north of the West Bengal state capital Kolkata, when the express slammed into its rear.
“The death toll has risen to 57,” West Bengal Relief Minister Murtaza Hussain told foreign news agency. “We have sent a relief team with gas cutters (blow torches) and other equipment for a speedy rescue operation.” He said the death toll would rise further, most likely above 60. It was not immediately clear what caused the accident, which occurred at around 2:00am (2030 GMT Sunday) when most passengers were sleeping.
