“Paula Abdul’s 911 call: Not the best Valentine’s Day ever”
Paula Abdul made a frantic and tearful 911 call during a Valentine’s Day drive with a boyfriend.
The call was made while Abdul was traveling as a passenger in a car on the 101 freeway near Santa Barbara, California. At one point Abdul tells the operator responding to the call, I want out of this car and he won’t let me.
According to TMZ, authorities contacted Abdul by phone an hour later and visited her home at night, but Abdul declined to file a police report. A rep for Abdul tells the website, Arguments with loved ones are often times heated.

Michael McDonald will be spotlighted in one of television’s biggest events as FOX announced today (May 26) that he will perform during tonight’s season finale of American Idol.
Judges and fans will select tonight’s winner. The final two contestants are Crystal Bowersox and Lee DeWyze. Tonight also marks the final appearance for judge Simon Cowell. Former judge Paula Abdul is expected to make an appearance on the show, and vocalist Christina Aguilera will also perform.
It was back in 2006 that American Idol featured contestant Taylor Hicks, who would later go on to win the competition. Although on 29 at the time, in appearance and with his vocals he made it clear he was a big fan of McDonald’s. In fact, Hicks sang McDonald’s “Takin’ It to the Streets” on the show.
Comedian Dane Cook, after the two, came up with a song called Simon Said. This song has been written by using some of his best put-downs. He, next, performed the first roast-worthy zinger of the night. “You sir, have the honesty of Abe Lincoln, and the charm of the guy that shot him.”

Tony Alamo, age 75, was a self-proclaimed Christian Evangelical leader, who became a convict as he illegally transported children with the purpose of using them for sexual pleasures. Tony Alamo has been accused and convicted of “raping children and providing children for raping and sexual assaults to other buyers.
One of the twisted things that Tony Alamo was doing was that he was using his Christian organization “Tony Alamo Christian Ministries” to cover his secret lifestyle. Not only did he illegally traffic children in order to rape them, but he also created them into delinquents that also caused crimes against other stray children or orphans.
It saddens me deeply that these poor children now have a view of Christianity and/or religion as sick and demented because of this man Tony Alamo. The lives of those children that he tortured will never be the same, especially those children that he made to commit crimes as well. Those children have then become perpetrator’s but not of their own doing.
Back in 2008, “Tony Alamo Christian Ministries” was raided while Tony Alamo was in California in custody. Investigators found a lot of disturbing evidence, including pornography. The trial of Tony Alamo occurred in 2009 where he was sentenced to 175 years in prison.

Kris Allen, last year’s winner, returns to perform his new single, The Truth, but the production crew forgets to turn off Ryan’s mike and he accidentally talks over the intro. I love the way Kris bounces when he’s not singing — no lack of energy in that guy. The Truth is a tough song to sing on the verses — it’s easy for that low part to sound flat — but he makes it work.
Ryan reminds us that this is “the end of an era” — the Simon Cowell era — and introduces a video montage that features tributes from his peers, including Paula Abdul, as well as some of his best reactions to bad contestants. “There will be many more shared memories throughout the show,” Ryan promises.
But first, Siobhan Magnus and Aaron Kelly sing How Deep Is Your Love as a duet — and their voices sound great together. Not as good, of course, as surviving Bee Gees Barry and Robin Gibb, of course — fortunately, they’re here, too. All four of them together, though? Not so much.

Lee Dewyze Won ‘American Idol’ Season 9 Tonight
well We don’t know it yet but recent reports say that Lee DeWyze was crowned as the American Idol 2010 winner. Since the reports said it well then we’ll stick to that. Simon Cowell was right in his prediction that Lee DeWyze will win the American Idol Season 9. Lee DeWyze was stunned when Ryan Seacrest announced that he won the American Idol.
The show that crowns the winner according to the viewer’s choice votes declared Lee DeWyze, the 24-year-old paint store clerk the next American Idol. Though Crystal Bowersox has remained the favorite of the judges from the beginning of the show and had also received praises from the judges on Tuesday night, it seems that Lee DeWyze was able to rule the heart of the viewers of “American Idol” this season.
DeWyze, 24, won the coveted title and will get a contract to record an album after millions of Americans cast their votes for the guitarist who likes the blues, even though the judges felt that Bowersox did better in the final presentation on Tuesday.
Considered shy and awkward at first, Lee got some kind of revelation in the last rounds and became a serious threat to Bowersox, a single mother and a rock fan.
Most people would agree to say that Lee won the competition after he sang a moving version of the classic song “Hallelujah” by Leonard Cohen in semifinals.
After the 6th break, Lee Dewyze performed a song with.the group “Chicago.” Next contestant Larry Platt came back to sing that “Pants On The Ground” song. William Hung joined in towards the end. After the 7th break, they showed another Simon video montage. Then Paula Abdul came onstage to pay a special tribute to Simon. After that, Kelly Clarkson and all the past “American Idol” winners hit the stage to sing a song to Simon. Then other past “Idol” contestants joined them to sing the song. Next, Simon went onstage to say a few words. After the break, Janet Jackson hit the stage with this year’s “American Idol” contestants to sing a song. Then she did a special solo performance. She sang, “Nothing,” and “Nasty Boys.” Afterwards,Crystal and Lee did another performance. After the final break, they finally revealed that Lee Dewyze won “American Idol” season 9. Lindsanity Gets Slammed In Court! Slapped With SCRAM Bracelet, To Undergo Random Drug Testing!
Lindsanity LOLhan FINALLY made her long-anticipated appearance this morning in court, only to be the recipient of one monster smackdown from Judge Marsha Revel!
In the relatively quick hearing, Revel told the wacktress that she was required to attend one alcohol education course a week, wear a SCRAM bracelet, refrain from drinking alcohol and undergo random drug testing!
LiLo’s lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, attempted to get girl out of having to wear the bracelet, citing that it would interfere with her upcoming imaginary movie role, but Revel – who must have quite the sense of humor – said that unless they wanted her to spout off the thirty minute list of reasons the SCRAM bracelet was needed, then they needed to shut up and take the conditions she had set!
Lindsay Lohan has been ordered to refrain from drinking or doing drugs … and if she dares to try she could end up behind bars.
Judge Marsha Revel laid down the law during a hearing this AM in Beverly Hills court. Judge Revel told Lindsay in order to stay free on bail, she cannot drink alcohol, she must wear a SCRAM device and she must submit to random drug testing.
Lindsay must begin wearing the SCRAM bracelet within 24 hours.
Lindsay must also attend all scheduled alcohol ed classes at least once a week.
Lindsay’s lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, began to object to the conditions, but when the judge said she would state out loud all the reasons why the conditions were appropriate — Holley backed off and accepted the conditions.

Which was Paula Abdul’s Better Option: Got to Dance or X-Factor?
CBS has signed the former “American Idol” judge Paula Abdul to headline its forthcoming dance competition, “Got to Dance.”
Ms. Abdul will be the lead judge and a mentor and coach for the amateur contestants on the reality show. Behind the scenes, she will also be an executive producer and a “creative partner,” CBS said.
Impressively, the network found a way to squeeze all the titles into a headline, like so: “Paula Abdul Named Executive Producer, Creative Partner, Mentor, Coach, And Lead Judge of Upcoming CBS Reality-Competition Series ‘Got To Dance.’”
With “Got to Dance” — a title that is subject to change — CBS will be competing with ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars” and Fox’s “So You Think You Can Dance.” A CBS spokesman said the network has not decided on a premiere date for the series.
Now, I’d like to think that Paula Abdul is incapable of poor decisions, but we all saw Hey Paula, right? She’s not in the clear.
While no one yet knows the specifics of Got to Dance, I assume its format is sophisticated, a ripe opportunity for Paula to criticize with authority. She was famously a Laker Girl early in her career, but she was also one of the most in-demand music video choreographers of the 1980s. She knows things. In this video with ingenue Janet Jackson, she teaches the pop newcomer how to insert “nasty” into her groove.
Since her announcement via Twitter that she was leaving ‘Idol’ Paula has been the focus of a great deal of attention from all three network’s suits; ABC offered her a space on “Dancing With the Stars” back in January, and Fox was also reported to be mulling her for Simon Cowell’s next big thing – “The X Factor.” But CBS won the day.
And Paula scored quite a package – THR says the new show sees her cast not only as lead judge, but also executive producer, creative partner, mentor and coach to the dancers.
Some say that makes her CBS’s version of Simon Cowell. Could this be partly revenge?
And if you think there’s now no chance Paula will be on X-Factor, don’t be concerned – Her reps made it clear to CBS that their star had to be free to do other jobs – like serve as a judge on the rival show. It’s not clear if CBS agreed, but there’s also no news they dropped her, so that looks like it’s done.
