Lahore: 2 killed in road accident
Two persons were killed while two others injured in a road accident at Lawrance Road, Lahore.
According to police, the accident occurred when an over speeding car hit an electricity poll at Lawrance Road. Resultantly, two cousins riding the car namely Hammad and Mohsin died on the spot, whereas two Waseen and Shahzad got severely injured.The injured were shifted to the hospital in critical condition.

MIRAN SHAH, trendpk: At least eight persons were killed and several injured in strikes by pilotless US spyplanes in tehsil Mir Ali of North Waziristan tribal region on Tuesday.
The drones fired missiles at two houses in Ghulam Khan area of Mir Ali killing eight persons and injuring several others, sources said. The injured have been shifted to hospital.
The sources fear increase in death toll in drone strikes.
The region was also targeted yesterday in which 21 persons were killed.
Sheikhupura: Secret agencys car crashes on motorway, 2 killed
A car of a secret agency got out of control on Motorway near Sheikhupura interchange and eventually fell into roadside farms due to which 2 officials got killed and 3 others including a Major got injured.

This car of a secret agency was coming to Lahore from Islamabad when the driver of car lost control due to over speeding and it toppled over and fell into roadside farms. The officials killed in this accident include Naik Khalid and Raaziq; where as 3 officials including Major Najm-ud-Din are seriously injured. The dead bodies and injured persons were taken out of the wrecked car by cutting it apart. The injured were immediately shifted to hospital.
Kohat Suicide Attack toll Rises to 17
KOHAT, News Trends: The death toll in Wednesday’s suicide attack at a transport terminal in Tirah Bazaar area of Kohat has reached to 17. Thirey-two persons were injured in attack.
That the police has found head and legs of the suicide bomber who was aged between 15 to 17 years.
The DPO also confirmed 17 deaths in the attack.
The injured being treated at nearby hospitals.
Banned terrorist outfit Tehrik-e-Taliban has claimed responsibility of the attack.
Balochistan CM Survive in Suicide Attack, 10 hurt
QUETTA, News Trends: Chief Minister of Balochistan Aslam Raisani survived a suicide attack when his motorcade was targeted by a bomber at Sariab Road crossing in Quetta, the capital of the province.
The attackers was killed in Tuesday’s attack in southwestern province, while 10 persons were injured in the incident.
According to police officials Chief Minister of Balochistan Aslam Raisani was the target of the suicide attack.
Police have cordoned off the area after the attack.

KARACHI: The killing row continues in the city; at least 16 more have been shot dead and six others injured during the last 24 hours in different areas of the metropolis.
According to police, a youth’s body was found shot dead from the garbage in Malir Shamsi Society this morning. Two unidentified persons were shot dead in Kalakot and Baba Bhit areas.
Last night, three people were shot dead in Khada Market, Sohrab Goth and North Karachi. North Karachi’s victim was identified as Hassan Naqi.
Yesterday, six unidentified persons were shot dead in Pirabad, Qasba Mor, Landhi Sherpao Colony, Patel Para, Gulistan-e-Johar Block 17 and Bilal Colony, New Karachi.
Three more were shot dead in Lyari; they were all identified by the police.

3 arrested in connection with shrine attack

KARACHI: Three persons were arrested late Friday night for their alleged involvement in Thursday’s twin suicide bombings at Abdullah Shah Ghazi’s shrine in Karachi.
According to reports, security agencies raided a house in Orangi Town and arrested arresting three accused, Kamran, Asad and Shafiq, all of them members of a banned sectarian outfit.
The investigation teams shifted the accused to an undisclosed location and started interrogations.
Meanwhile, Dir’s Naseebullah, who was blamed for carrying out suicide attacks on the Sufi shrine by Interior Minister Rehman and the police, returned to his home in Metroville. SAMAA
Two killed in Bahawalpur mosque firing
Unidentified persons entered into a mosque and opened fire, killing two people on the spot and injured 8 others.
According to police, three armed men opened indiscriminate fire after Fajar prayer in Satellite Town due to which two persons were killed. The injured were shifted to Victoria hospital where one injured is stated to be critical. Angry people staged protest outside the mosque and chanted slogans. DPO Babar Bakht said that the attackers seemed to be locals and would be arrested soon.
Firing hurts four in Karachi
KARACHI: Four persons were injured when firing occurred near Empress Market Saddar, Geo News reported Wednesday.
The firing incident took place when a procession of Yaum Ali (RA) was passing off Empress Market in Saddar.
The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital.
The incident was followed by aerial firing by unknown men from an old building in Saddar market.
CCPO Wasim Ahmed said that police and Rangers have surrounded the building and trying to carry out a search by entering into it.

KARACHI: Two persons were shot to death in separate incidents of violence in Karachi on Friday, police said.
According to police, unknown assailants shot and killed 35-year-old Shah Nawaz near Police Headquarters in Garden Town. The deceased was a resident of Bhimpura.
In another incident, some unidentified gunmen opened indiscriminate fire at a mini bus, killing the driver. Another person identified as Javed was injured in an armed attack in the same area.
In Qasba Colony, unknown men subjected a man to torture before setting his motorbike on fire.
