Lahore: Plastic bag factory burns in Shahdara

LAHORE: A plastic bag manufacturing factory has been burn in Shahdara, Lahore on Wednesday.

According to Rescue 1122 officials, a short circuit of power cables caused the fire in the small factory, made in a house in Shahdara.

After the short circuit, the plastic bags manufacturing raw material caught fire. The Rescue 1122 team arrived at the scene immediately and controlled the fire within half an hour.

Except for material loss, no one has been reported hurt in the incident. SAMAA

Gilani keeps his words on Shaista’s enrolment

ISLAMABAD: On the directive of Prime Minister Syed Raza Gilani, Shaista, a poor plastic bag seller, was admitted to FG Juniors Model School in Islamabad on Monday.

It may be reminded here that Prime Minister Gilani had promised to enroll Shaista enrolled in a school during his visit to a Sunday Bazaar last week.

Taking notice of the SAMAA report, the Prime Minister directed Islamabad’s commissioner to immediately enroll the plastic bag seller to any school.

At the time of admission, Islamabad’s assistant commissioner was also present in the school. He also gave Rs5000 in cash to the parents of Shaista for buying school uniform. SAMAA

BUDAPEST, Hungary — Miss Plastic Hungary 2009 Beauty Pageant:- It was a night for unnatural beauties. Contestants showed off breast implants, nose jobs and face lifts as Miss Plastic Hungary 2009 strove to promote the benefits of plastic surgery in a country where artificial enhancements are viewed mostly with a wary eye.

“I think this competition is long overdue,” said photographer Marton Szipal, one of the pageant judges. “Hungarians used to laugh about plastic surgery but it’s time for Hungarian women to care more about their appearance. They are the most beautiful in Europe.”

Plastic surgeon Dr. Tamas Rozsos said the pageant also meant to show that cosmetic corrections did not necessarily have to be about oversized breasts, bulbous lips and skin stretched to near tearing point.

“This about restoring harmony … eliminating asymmetries and giving women the opportunity to have normal features,” Rozsos said. “Plastic surgery has a bad reputation in Hungary but its mostly due to the exaggerations.” More

Hansen is quick and he is smart that’s why he removed all the pictures of Hansen from his website. You won’t find any pictures there now.

If you don’t know who Monica Hansen is..then here is some info for you. Monica is a Norway based model and beauty queen and also appreared in prestigious magazines like Esquire, Maxim.
