The low-calorie, pre-mixed cocktail comes in a 750 milliliter bottle and has 12.7 percent alcohol (25.4 proof). It’s made with premium Blue Agave clear tequila, agave nectar, fresh lime juice and Triple Sec.
I took the bottle (about $13) to a gathering of gals who had watched “The Real Housewives of New York” and were interested in trying the cocktail. We poured the room-temperature drink over ice. The initial taste seemed overwhelmingly powerful, even a touch medicinal, but it soon mellowed into a tangy, citrusy drink. “Very limey,” said one 
drinker. The cocktail improved after a few minutes in the glass. Several tasters agreed that first chilling the bottle would have made the drink better.
If you’re a fan of pre-sweetened margaritas, this is not the drink for you. While tasters said they preferred a hand-shaken drink made with freshly squeezed lime — and who doesn’t? One of the NYC housewives, Bethenny Frankel took the recipe that can at times be filled with calories and simplified it. Good for our taste buds and good for our waist line!
Bethenny’s recipe is straight forward.
-2 oz. of Clear Premium Tequila
- Tiny splash of Orange Liquor
-Juice of 4 lime wedges.
-Combine all ingredients over a glass of ice and garnish with a lime wedge

While the video is certainly funny, there’s a dark undercurrent to all this BP humor. But I guess when the world feels like it’s falling apart, sometimes all you can do is laugh about it!
And, honestly, any jokes about that stupid “top hat” thing are totally solid in my book. What exactly were they thinking? (Oh, right, they were thinking they’d try the methods first that best protected their investments! Duh!)

Bethenny Frankel is coming clean. The star of the Real Housewives of NYC recently admitted that her new hubby, Jason Hoppy, is NOT her first marriage. Yes that’s right Jason Hoppy is marriage number two for Frankel. This is news to me! Throughout the past seasons of the Real Housewives of NYC Frankel always talked about how much she wanted to marry and was running out of time to have babies.
So what the Bravo is going on? According to Life & Style in 1994 Frankel married her best friend at the time, Peter Sussman, and eight months later got divorced. Frankel told Life & Style, “We were best 
friends for five years, and he always wanted to be more. I felt like, This is really it? This is the person I’m going to spend the rest of my life with? You can’t go to bed with a piece of 8-by-10 paper.” Looks like Frankel did what a lot of women do – marry the safe guy and I can’t blame the girl. Let’s hope her new marriage with Hoppy is for the long run. Oh and Jason if you’re reading this (which I doubt you are) I think you’re awfully hot so if things don’t work out…I’m just saying. I’m only half kidding.She explains, “I felt like, ‘This is really it? This is the person I’m going to spend the rest of my life with? I loved him because of how much he loved me. I got married too young. I didn’t wait for the great love of my life.”
Believing she has just that in Jason Hoppy, the 39-year-old gushes, “Until you find it, you’re not really sure it’s even possible. You don’t know how the story can end.”

Little wonder that in the process of making the big plays in last night’s 96-89 Game 4 win against the Lakers at the Garden, Nate Robinson and Rasheed Wallace each picked up a technical foul.
It was Wallace’s sixth of the playoffs, and one more means a league-mandated one-game suspension.
“Unfortunately, that’s probably our most emotional group when you have Nate, Rasheed and Tony (Allen) on the floor at the same time,” coach Doc Rivers said. “So the techs happen. That’s the only thing we didn’t like. We have a no-fourth-quarter-tech rule, which was blown out of the water today. But other than that I thought our energy was absolutely terrific.”
Wallace was whistled for a technical after arguing a foul on Kobe Bryant midway through the fourth quarter.
“I hope they rescind (Wallace’s) because I thought he did a dance, but he ran away,” Rivers said. “I didn’t think he said anything. The dance was funny, but I don’t know. I just wish they hadn’t given it to him. It’s a concern, and the Lakers know that.”They were fine” not going back into the game, Rivers said. “They were cheering. This is a good team. This is why we are here. They were cheering, ‘Don’t take them out.’ ”
Robinson, in for a struggling Rajon Rondo, seemed to energize the offense and finished with 12 points, six in the final quarter. His energy was so great that he got hit with a technical when he taunted Lamar Odom. The Lakers missed the free throw.
“Only thing we didn’t like is the no fourth-quarter technical rule,” Rivers said. “And we blew that out of the water.”
Another factor for the Celtics was their dominance on the boards. The Celtics’ edge was 41-34, including a 16-8 advantage in offensive rebounds.”

This huge Guatemala crater according to Gizmodo “is a natural depression caused by the removal of soil by water. This process can happen slowly, but sometimes the land just cracks open. In this case, the sinkhole happened suddenly
The Guatemala sinkhole appeared after the zone was hit by tropical storm Agatha. Luckily according to official information there are no casualties as a result of the sudden appearance of the sinkhole, since it appeared in an intersection. I don’t even want to imagine what would have happened if a house had fallen in the never-ending hole.
Guatemalan President Alvaro Colom said last Sunday during the Nation Address that there were nearly 112,000 have been evacuatedand 29,000 are living at temporary shelters. The Pacaya Volcano eruption distressed Guatemala greatly and was further extensified by the tropical storm Agatha and later on the Guatemala Sinkhole. Reports say that there were at least 92 deaths, 54 missing and 59 injured.

Johannesburg – As widely expected England-based striker Benni McCarthy was left out of the final 23-man Bafana Bafana squad for the 2010 Soccer World Cup starting on June 11.
German-based goalkeeper Rowen Fernandez was also excluded, with Maritzburg United goalkeeper Shu-Aib Walters taking his place.
Coach Carlos Alberto Parreira said: “My heart is jumping off happiness. Went to bad in the early hours of the morning. Could not celebrate any goals because it has been difficult for us as coaches. These players were really outstanding in giving the best for the team.
“Put your heads up. Life goes on. We are only allowed to take 23 but thank you very much for your efforts, your attitude and commitment. A team is when somebody shares the same vision, whether you are playing or on the bench.
“The people said, coach make us proud. Bafana make us proud, players make us proud and we appreciate the support from you.
Colombia was not the best game but the support was great. It was just like a World Cup game.
The Brazilian added that the SA side would aim to progress as far as possible at the soccer spectacle. “Our goal is to go as far as we can. When the ball is moving anything can happen.”.
Parreira said he wished he could keep all 30 of the original squad.
He said the players had a mission to make the country proud. “We are ready to make you proud and appreciate all the support.”
Parreira said an extra member of the squad was the vuvuzela. “We need the vuvuzelas, we need a lot of noise.”
Bafana’s other two Group A matches are against Uruguay at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria on Wednesday, June 16 at 20:30 and France at the Free State Stadium in Bloemfontein on Tuesday, June 22 at 16:00.
Bafana coach Carlos Alberto Parreira would not comment on why the players were left out, but he said selection was based on various factors including fitness.

Hawks win Stanley Cup opener
CHICAGO — Antti Niemi’s expression seldom changes and his demeanor is a constant. Sometimes it’s hard to tell if he’s let in five goals, made a series of stellar saves or helped his team get within two wins of capturing the Stanley Cup.
The Chicago Blackhawks are just glad he’s in goal. The 26-year-old from Finland, who once drove a Zamboni to help pay the bills, is playing in his first NHL postseason and is seemingly not phased by where he’s landed.
“Maybe it’s better he has no experience,” teammate Ben Eager said. “We’re really confident when he’s in net.”
Niemi had 14 of his 32 saves in the final period Monday night, preserving the Blackhawks’ 2-1 victory over the Philadelphia Flyers for a 2-0 lead in the Stanley Cup finals.
The series shifts to the Wachovia Center for Games 3 and 4 on Wednesday and Friday.
It was Niemi’s last-period performance that really brought the raucous crowd of 22,275 to its feet when the puck finally slid down the ice and the Flyers wouldn’t score in the final 1:44 after pulling goalie Michael Leighton for an extra attacker.
They chanted Niemi’s name and nearly drowned out an on-ice interview.
“It’s unbelievable feeling how the people react,” Niemi said. “Defense was the key.”
After a wild opener won by the Blackhawks 6-5 when Niemi did indeed give up five goals, the teams tightened up on defense and played a testy and chippy game.
Chicago broke a scoreless tie when Marian Hossa and Ben Eager scored 28 seconds apart late in the second period.
Lurking behind the remarkable playoff run of both previously unheralded goaltenders was the question of which would be the first to see his hot streak evaporate. Actually, it happened to both of them.
The best line came on Hockey Night In Canada from goaltender-turned-analyst Glenn Healy as the red lights flashed: “Last save wins.” That figuratively went to Niemi, who managed to survive for a 6-5 win in the first game of the NHL final by the Blackhawks in front of a roaring throng of 22,312 at the United Centre.
It was the first time since 1973 the Blackhawks, who last won the Cup in 1961, won a game in the final. They were swept in the 1992 final by Mario Lemieux and the Pittsburgh Penguins. Thanks to the Blackhawks’ depth, though, they could fall back on the Marian Hossa-Patrick Sharp-Troy Brouwer line, which had its best game of the playoffs. Brouwer scored two goals, both set up by Hossa, and the trio finished with a total of six points.
“We were getting lots of chances [earlier in the playoffs] but for whatever reason the puck didn’t go in,” Hossa said. “We made those chances again and this time the puck goes in.”
Control of the game swung back and forth between the teams thanks to the shaky goaltending and defensive play.
At one point during the first period, the Blackhawks looked to be completely in charge after a slow start. Dave Bolland, their chief pest, capitalized on a Braydon Coburn turnover at the Chicago blue line for a shorthanded goal on a breakaway and the Blackhawks had a 2-1 lead midway through the period.
The Blackhawks were the faster team, the Flyers were making a few too many mistakes and Leighton was looking ordinary after a long run of excellence. Welcome to the faster, trickier Western Conference, the experts were saying to the Flyers.

Brittany Murphy’s Husband Found Dead in Hollywood Hills Home
Simon Monjack, the controversial widower of Brittany Murphy, was found dead early this morning in his Los Angeles home. He was 40. Not much is known about the circumstances beyond their eerie similarities to Murphy’s own death five months ago — right down to the cause of death in the same bedroom in the same house.
According to police, the scene was not so unlike the one they’d discovered back on Dec. 20 of last year: Murphy’s mother Sharon discovered Monjack unconscious in the master bedroom of their Hollywood Hills residence around 9:30. She called 911; paramedics’ resuscitation efforts failed shortly thereafter, and Monjack was pronounced dead at the scene. Cardiac arrest has emerged as the unofficial cause of death as the case moves forward to the coroner’s office..
The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a 911 call for an “unspecified medical aid request,” at 2.30pm (AEST) yesterday, according to spokesman Brian Humphrey.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ that Murphy’s mother, Sharon, found Monjack unconscious in the master bedroom.
Paramedics attempted to resuscitate the 39-year-old on arrival, but he passed away from cardiac arrest, The Sun reported.
No illegal drugs were found in the house, according to Los Angeles County Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter.
Murphy – who starred in Clueless, 8 Mile and Girl, Interrupted – died aged 32 from pneumonia and a drug overdose of prescription painkiller Vicodin on December 20, 2009, a coroner’s office report said.
After her death, British-born Monjack blamed Hollywood, saying film bosses had “blood on their hands.”

MMR doctor struck from register
The General Medical Council found Dr Andrew Wakefield guilty of serious professional misconduct over the way he carried out his controversial research.
It follows a GMC ruling earlier this year that he had acted unethically.
Dr Wakefield, who is now based in the US, has consistently claimed the allegations are unfair. He now says he will appeal against the verdict.
His 1998 Lancet study caused vaccination rates to plummet, resulting in a rise in measles – but the findings were later discredited.
The GMC ruled in January Dr Wakefield had acted “dishonestly and irresponsibly” in conducting his research, but under its procedures the sanctions are made at a later date.
The case did not investigate whether Dr Wakefield’s findings were right or wrong, instead it focused on the methods of research.
During the two-and-a-half-year case, the longest in GMC history, he was accused of carrying out invasive tests on vulnerable children which were against their best interests.
The GMC also said Dr Wakefield, who was working at London’s Royal Free Hospital as a gastroenterologist at the time, did not have the ethical approval or relevant qualifications for such tests.
And the panel hearing the case took exception with the way he gathered blood samples. Dr Wakefield paid children £5 for the samples at his son’s birthday party.
It also said Dr Wakefield should have disclosed the fact that he had been paid to advise solicitors acting for parents who believed their children had been harmed by the MMR.
