OGRA announces to keep petroleum products prices unchanged

ISLAMABAD: The prices of petroleum products are not being changed and they all will be sold on the same existing prices during next month, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced it on Tuesday night.

Earlier, it was informed and feared that the concerned authorities had decided to increase petrol price by Rs. 2.17 per liter and diesel price by Rs. 2.50 per liter.

OGRA’s announcement, to keep the prices of petroleum products unchanged, have proven all fears of price hike wrong and people have taken the sigh of relief. Trend Pk

Sugar price mounts by Rs. 5 per kg in Lahore

LAHORE: During last 24 hours, the price of sugar has mounted up by rupees 5 per kg in Lahore.

According to details, in various parts of Punjab including Lahore, the retail price of sugar has climbed to Rs. 96 to 98 per kg while in whole sale market it is being sold on Rs. 93 to 94 per kg.

This latest increase of Rs. 5 per kg, in sugar price, is considered to be a record of 24 hours’ price hike as yesterday sugar’s whole sale price was Rs. 86 and the retail price was Rs. 92 per kg. Trend Pk
