Gold, silver prices hit record high
Gold and silver prices hit record high in the local market on Saturday. Gold price reached Rs 45,170 per tola.
According to the Sindh Sarafa Association, local gold prices surged to Rs 45,170 per tola with an increase of Rs 570 whereas, the price of 10-gram increased to Rs 38,717, up by Rs 489. Silver price also recorded significant increase and reached Rs 900 per tola.
Gold price up by Rs 450 per tola
Gold prices continued to rise in the local markets due to increase in international markets on Saturday. Silver prices also touched highest level in countrys history.According to the Sindh Sarafa Association, local gold prices surged to Rs 43,600 per tola with an increase of Rs 450 per tola whereas, the price of 10-gram increased to Rs 37,371, up by Rs 386. Silver price reached Rs 710 per tola.
Gold price continues upward rally
Gold prices continued to rise in the local as well as international markets on Thursday. Local prices surged to a record Rs 44,350 per tola.
According to the Sindh Sarafa Association, an increase of Rs 350 per tola was witnessed in the local markets today. Whereas, the price of 10-gram increased to Rs 38,014, up by Rs 300. Silver price has also started increasing and reached Rs 690 per tola.
Gold prices hit all time high
Gold prices hit all time high in the local as well as international markets on Wednesday. Local prices surged to a record Rs 43,750 per tola.
According to the Sindh Sarafa Association, an increase of 325 rupees per tola was witnessed in the local markets today. Whereas, the price of 10-gram increased to Rs 37,478, up by Rs 278.
Gold reaches Rs 43,700 per tola
Gold prices hit record high in the local as well as international markets on Thursday. Local prices surged to a record Rs43,700 per tola.
According to the Sindh Sarafa Association, an increase of 350 rupees per tola was witnessed in the local markets today. Whereas, the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs 300 to reach Rs 37,457.
International markets witnessed an increase of more than $28 per ounce during the month of October.
Gold maintains upward rally
Gold price continued to rise in local and international markets as gold hit all time high on Friday and touched Rs 41,000 per tola in Pakistan.
Karachi markets remained closed on Friday due to murder of MQM leader Imran Farooq. Gold prices surged by Rs 450 per tola whereas price of 10 grams increased to Rs 35,300. Gold price in London market crossed 12081 dollars per ounce.
Gold hits all time high of Rs 40,550 per tola
Gold price continued to rise in local and international markets as gold hit record high on Thursday and reached Rs 40,550 per tola in Pakistan.
Gold prices surged to Rs 40,550 per tola, up Rs 275 whereas price of 10 grams increased to Rs 34,457, up Rs 236 in local markets including Karachi. During last three days, gold price has been increase by Rs 800 per tola.
Gold hits record high
The trend of increase in gold prices continued in local and international markets as gold traded at record high of above Rs 40,000 per tola in Pakistan on Tuesday.
Gold prices surged to Rs 40,165 per tola, up Rs 415 whereas price of 10 grams increased to Rs 34,437, up Rs 356 in local markets including Karachi. In international markets, gold price increased by $15 per ounce to reach $1,245. The continuous decline of dollar value is causing surge in gold buying and the prices are increasing.
Wheat purchase started in March, says Qadir
KARACHI: The spokesman of Ministry of food and agriculture Qadir Bux Baloch said government has started purchase of wheat from March 24 and so far 100,000 tonnes of wheat has been purchased out of set target of 6500, 000 tonnes.
Baloch said government has purchased 100,000 tonnes of wheat from farmers till March 29. Federal government has set 6500,000 tonnes purchase target for current year whereas food ministry needed Rs.93 billion to achieve this target, he added.
Gold Surges in Local, Int’l Markets

Gold prices surged to Rs 35,600 per tola, up Rs 350 while the price of 10 grams rose to Rs 30,514, up Rs 300 in Pakistani markets including Karachi. In international gold markets, gold surged to $1134, up $19.
