CNG”s prices increased by 1.70 to 1.73 per kg

ISLAMABAD: Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority on Thursday increased prices of Compressed Natural Gas(CNG) from Rs 1.70 to 1.73 per kilogram with effective from July 30.

According to OGRA sources, in Kyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan and Potohar region the gas prices were increased by Rs 1.70 from Rs 55.30 per kg to Rs 57.3 per kg.

While in Punjab, Sindh excluding Potohar region CNG prices were jacked up by Rs 1.73 from Rs 53.63 per kg to Rs 55.33 per kg.

Oil rebounds in Asian trade

SINGAPORE: Oil prices rebounded in Asian trade Friday after falling on concerns about demand stemming from a build-up in US crude inventories, analysts said.

New York”s main contract, light sweet crude for delivery in May, rose 40 cents to 85.79 dollars a barrel. Brent North Sea crude for May was up 41 cents to 84.22 dollars.

Crude prices were lifted by a stronger equities performance in Hong Kong and China, but analysts said the market could pare back gains later in the day.

6ec34a3fa4trade Oil Price Increases In Asia TradeSINGAPORE: Oil prices were above 72 dollars in Asian trade on Friday following an overnight rally which saw the market buoyed by strong performances on Wall Street and a weakening US dollar, analysts said.

New York’s main futures contract, light sweet crude for October delivery, was up 13 cents to 72.62 dollars a barrel. Brent North Sea crude for delivery in October was unchanged at 72.51 dollars.

“Oil market sentiment benefited from a recovery on US equity markets,” the Commonwealth Bank of Australia said in a report.
