The opening ceremony would have been perfect, just if the Olympic Torch Malfunction would have not happened that left Catriona Le May Doan a little confused, but then again it was not the first time that such an event happened.

The Olympic Torch malfunction happened due to a technical problem. The Olympic Cauldron at the Vancouver Winter Olympic Games 2010 suppose to lit by the four columns (pillars) rising up from
the floor, but disaster struck when one of the four columns (pillars) failed to light.

Although, Olympic Torch malfunction was an embarrassment not only for the organizers, but for the celebrity too, who was to light the pillar “Catriona Le May Doan”, that left her a little bit confused for a moment, but this is not the first time such type of incident happened.

If I remember exactly this is not the first time masses have witnessed Olympic Torch malfunction, few years back an archer overshot his aero that has to light the Olympic Cauldron.

Catriona Le May Doan was soon informed by the organizers about the Olympic Torch malfunction or technical problem and she reacted with immense professionalism and saluted the audience as others set fire to the Olympic Cauldron and formally opened the Vancouver Winter Olympic Games 2010.

Tiger Woods Farts, Maybe a bit frustrated that he didn’t win the British Open, Tiger Woods went on to display his usual great performance at the Buick Open and farted at the 18th hole to seal the win.

Woods claimed his 69th PGA Tour title after conquering Warwick Hills with a final score of -20 under par and three strokes better than the next player in line.

“I’ve played all around the world, and I’ve never seen a day like this,” Woods told the media. “This event has always been special, but today was something else.”

Woods’ pent up frustration over his British Open performance may be the reason for his fart but it is still unsure who expelled gas. The video below shows both Woods and his caddy laughing of a fart.

Real Chance of love 2 cast

Real Chance of love 2 cast, Real Chance of Love is set to premier tonight on VH1 at 9/8c.  Brothers Ahmad Givens and Kamal Givens aka Real and Chance are back for another quest at finding “true love.”

Season 1 ended with Chance picking no one, and Real picking Cornfed.  Shockingly, the relationship between Real and Cornfed did not last. According to Cornfed, Real abruptly ended their relationship earlier this year.  I’m guessing it’s tough to keep a relationship going knowing you have signed on to do a 2nd season of a dating reality show.

Arena Football League

Arena Football League, According to numerous reports the league has met its demise, and will likely file for bankruptcy.

The Chicago Rush, they of 2006 ArenaBowl championship fame, are no longer.

It’s a shame, really. I don’t count myself as a fan of the game — though its recent exposure on ESPN had my eyeballs here and there — but for anyone that followed the sport with real enthusiasm (these people existed right?) a part of them just died today.

And going further: these are peoples’ lives and jobs. In addition to the players — some of whom were making six-figure salaries — there are countless other individuals such as coaches, trainers, front-office types, etc. who if they haven’t found something else to do for income already, are really up against it now as the slim chance of the league returning just walked out the door.

Chalk another one up to this economy, and pour out a little liquor for Arena Football.
