MQM chief condoles death of party workers
In a press statement issued from London, the Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain condoled the death of Asif Ali, Muneer Ahmed and Muhammad Naeem with the bereaved families.
The MQM Rabita Comittee said that the incident was a conspiracy to deteriorate the Karachi peace. The Rabita Comittee also demanded the governor and the Sindh chief minister take notice of the killings and order the arrest of miscreants involved in the incident.

News Trends: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), on Monday announced that body of its former convener, Dr. Imran Farooq will be sent to Pakistan from London by a PIA flight on November 5.
Dr. Imran Farooq will be laid to rest in Shuhada graveyard at Azizabad here on November 6, this decision was made at a meeting of MQM Rabita Committee in London and Pakistan on Monday,said a statement issued by the party.
The London Police on Monday informed the MQM Rabita Committee and the relatives of Dr. Imran Farooq with regard to handing over of the body of slain leader to his relatives, the statement said.
After receiving the body of Dr. Imran Farooq, the Namaz-e-Janaza will be held on November 4, after Zohar prayers at Hyden Mosque, West Hyden, Broadway, London, consequently the body will be sent to Pakistan on November 5, by a PIA Flight.
The Namaz-e-Janaza of the slain leader will also be held at Jinnah Ground Azizabad after zohar prayers on November 6. Later the deceased will be laid to rest in Shuhada graveyard at Azizabad here.
Deputy Convener MQM Rabita Committee, Dr. Farooq Sattar, members MQM body, Raza Haroon, Mustafa Kamal, Wasey Jaleel and Dr. Imran’s widow Shumaila Imran as well as his children will also accompany the body of the slain leader.
The MQM Rabita Committee has appealed to the people to attend the Namaz-e-Janaza to pay tribute to Dr. Imran Farooq.
MQM gifts house to Mustafa Kamal
KARACH: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has gifted a house to outgoing Karachi mayor Syed Mustafa Kamal as a token of appreciation for his exemplary services, which included Karachi among the world’s modern and developed cities.

Syed Mustafa Kamal served as Sindh Information Minister before taking charge of Karachi City Nazim in 2005.
Despite being mayor of the country’s largest city for four year, he does not have his own house. He has been living at a rented house in Gulshan-e-Iqbal town.
The MQM’s Rabita Committee gifted a house to Mustafa Kamal for working earnestly and honestly as mayor of Karachi for the development of Karachi.
MQM chief Altaf Hussain has endorsed the Rabita Committee’s decision to award Mustafa the house.
Altaf Hussain Appreciates President Zardari’s Statement
Pakistan News: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Quaid Altaf Hussain has highly appreciated the statement of the President, Asif Ali Zardari directing the leaders of the People’s Party not to issue statement against MQM.
In a statement issued here, Altaf Hussain said President’s statement augured well. He also advised MQM leaders that they should also be highly cautious in this context, while issuing statements and act wisely for a turnaround from the present acerbic environment.
MQM information office in a statement said that Quaid-e-Tahrik Altaf Hussain has expressed his displeasure over the latest poem of a member of Rabita Committee, Mustafa Azizabadi, which was based on his personal views and his own act. Rabita Committee has directed Syed Mustafa Azizabadi that he should refrain from publishing any of his poems based on political themes without consulting the Rabita Committee.
