GWADAR, Pakistan News: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani said the terrorists are serving as the stumbling block in the way for the national progress.
Talking to media, he appealed to the citizens of Karachi to stay calm and said that terrorists have no religion, adding we would accomplish the terrorists’ agenda by disrupting the peace of the city.
The PM Gilani said the government enjoys support from the political and religious leadership against the terrorism, adding the terrorists are working as the speed breaker for the national development.
The Prime Minister said the Pak Army jawans are sacrificing their lives for national security and the eradication of terrorists.

KARACHI: Karachi Nazim has said that the blazes in Karachi wholesale markets have been putout to most extent, while the law and order situation in the metropolis has also been under total control.
Karachi Mustafa Kamal said the firefighters have extinguished 99 percent blazes however due to presence of inflammable material in shops the fires reignite again.
Mustafa Kamal paid tribute to the people of Karachi and said the people have foiled a conspiracy of sectarian riots in the city with their unity. He said the fire incidents in markets inflicted billions of rupees losses and called for investigations into the arson incidents.

Rehman Malik Sees Calculated Plot Behind Karachi Blazes
KARACHI, Pakistan News: Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik said it was not Azadars who torched buildings and vehicles; instead, it was a calculated conspiracy to set ablaze the properties.
He said this while talking to media after the funeral prayers of Pakistan Rangers personnel Abdur Razzaq in Bagh-e-Jinnah Karachi along with DG Rangers Sindh Maj Gen Liaquat Ali, the provincial ministers of MQM including Dr Sagheer Ahmed, Raza Haroon.
He expressed concerns over the conflagration process, as it started soon after two minutes of the blast, adding a team of experts pertaining to the various departments with DIG East as its head has been constituted, which would present its report soon.
