Pakistan News: President Asif Ali Zardari met with his Turkish counterpart President Abudllah Gul and discussed matters of mutual interests in Istanbul.
The two leaders deliberated upon important international issues, bilateral ties and trilateral conference besides regional security situation including Afghanistan insurgency and role of Pakistan in war on terror.
An international conference on Afghanistan regarding talks with Taliban to establish peace in the region is being kicked off in Istanbul today.
