Australian Selectors Facing Tough Call, Australians Demanding Shane Warne Return
After the draw of first test match and losing the 2nd test match Australian selection committee is facing problems in selecting team. Simon Katich is injured and to find his replacement is not an easy task. 
Australian bowling was not successful in the first two test matches. Marcus North, Xavier Doherty, Doug Bollinger and Peter Siddle ar still waiting for their selection.
Australian were not able to get wickets of England batsmen and the scored more then 1,000 runs in two consecutive innings of two test matches and lost only 6 wickets all together. Australian captain R Pointing is very desperate after the defeat and he said that he donot want to become an Australian captain with three Ashes defeats.
Australia has lost 2005 and 2009 Ashes series under the captaincy of Ponting. In 2010-11 Ashes series Australia has lost a test match and this is a real concern for Ponting. Spinners are also not favoring Australians and after the failure of two test matches Australian people are demanding the come back of Shane Warne. Shane Warne is in England and he said that it is a nice thing that people still love him. While answering his return to international cricket he said that the demand of his return is flattering him and it is just honorable thing for him.

Under-fire opener Gautam Gambhir earned sound backing from skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni ahead of the second Test against New Zealand starting on Friday.
The left-handed opener has struggled with the bat of late, aggregating 86 runs from his last 10 Test innings.
Gambhir, 29, missed India’s Test against Australia in Bangalore last month with a knee injury and his replacement Murali Vijay scored a solid 139, putting pressure on his more experienced team-mate to perform.
“Players do go out of form,” Dhoni told reporters at a pre-match press conference on Thursday.
“It happens to everyone in cricket. Gambhir has set the benchmark so high that expectations of him have grown. With Gambhir, it is more about the pressure to perform than the fear of failure.

2010/11 budget – what to watch for
KARACHI: Pakistan is due to announce its budget for the 2010/11 (July-June) fiscal year on June 5.
Following are details of the budget that have been announced and media reports on its likely contents.
Macroeconomics
– The government expects gross domestic product (GDP) to grow by 4.5 percent in the 2010/11 fiscal year beginning on July 1, compared with 4.1 percent forecast for the 2009/10 fiscal year.
– Agriculture growth in the next fiscal year is targeted at 3.8 percent, manufacturing growth at 5.6 percent and service sector growth at 4.7 percent.
– Inflation for the 2010/11 fiscal year is targeted at 8 percent, compared with the central bank”s forecast of between 11 percent and 12 percent for the 2009/10 fiscal year.
– The government is aiming for a fiscal deficit in the 2010/11 fiscal year of between 4 percent and 4.2 percent of GDP, compared with an earlier forecast of 5.1 percent, the News newspaper reported.
Taxes, Duties And Subsidies
– The government has decided to eliminate subsidies on power, fertiliser and sugar in the budget for the next fiscal year, the Business Recorder newspaper said.
– The government is expected to announce the replacement of a general sales tax with a 15 percent value-added tax in the budget.
– The government is expected to impose capital gains tax on the purchase of stocks made on or after July 1.

CIA deputy to step down: Spy agency

WASHINGTON: The powerful deputy director of the CIA, alleged to have played a role in allowing brutal interrogations of terror suspect, plans to step down in May, the spy agency”s chief has said.
Steve Kappes, who helped manage counter-terrorism operations under former president George W Bush and worked for years in clandestine operations, will be succeeded by career intelligence analyst Michael Morrell, the CIA”s director, Leon Panetta, said in a statement on Wednesday.
Panetta praised Kappes for his “advice and experience,” saying he had expressed a wish to retire from the agency for some time.
Admiral Dennis Blair, the director of national intelligence, praised Kappes as “a patriot and a dedicated professional” and welcomed Morrell”s selection as his replacement.
Panetta portrayed the change at the CIA”s number-two post as a smooth transition for an agency rattled by internal shake-ups in the years following the September 11 attacks.
Kappes has been praised for his acumen in and outside the agency, including a delicate mission in 2003 to persuade Libyan leader Moamer Kadhafi to give up his country”s chemical and biological weapons programme.

Siddle, Henriques out of India Series
Australia’s injury problems increased further with the news of fast bowler Peter Siddle and all-rounder Moises Henriques also heading back home. Siddle has a side strain and has been ruled out of action for a week. Henriques, the hero of New South Wales’ win in the Champions League T20 has suffered a hamstring injury. The two players are going to be replaced with 23-year-old NSW quick Burt Cockley and Victorian all-rounder Andrew McDonald. Earlier it was expected that left arm fast bowler Dirk Nannes would be the replacement for Peter Siddle. India would thank its stars that Nannes hasn’t been named as the left armer has shown his red hot pace in the IPL quite often.
The visitors had leveled the 7-ODI Series in 2-2 at Mohali. The two replacement players are expected to be ready only by the 6th ODI at Guwahati. The fifth ODI is tomorrow at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. Australia will most likely have Ben Hilfenhaus come back in the place of Peter Siddle.

Terms Of Nazims Will Come To End On 16 Oct, 2009: Agha Durrani
JAMSHORO: Provincial minister for local government Agha Siraj Durrani has said the terms of Nazims will come to end on October 16 and the administrators will be designated from October 17, Geo news reported.
He said those Nazims who wish to get back, should keep fasts, offer prayers and should go to perform Hajj.
This he said at the inaugural ceremony of a residential scheme here on Monday. He said the day on October 16 will mark the end of Nazims’ tenure while Administrators will be appointed in their replacement from October 17 and onwards.

Big Brother 11 chima quit, Latest updates about Big Brother 11 chima quit. Chima Simone is no longer a part of the Big Brother 11 cast.
Early this morning, the live feeds went to fish for about 90 minutes. When the live feeds returned, it was apparent that Chima is no longer a part of Big Brother 11.
At this point, we don’t know if she was asked to leave or quit on her own. We do know that several houseguests were wondering who the replacement nominee would be and if there would be a replacement houseguest for the jury house.
