TrendPK.com: Rihanna has recently been linked to boxer and model Dudley O’Shaughnessy after he appeared in her “We Found Love” music video, but what is really going on here?

While the two were spotted out in London together, things may not be lasting long, states E! News. “We had fun together, but I honestly don’t know whether I’ll see her again. I’d like to go to America…but for work,” O’Shaughnessy commented.

He added that his work is his main priority right now.

Rihanna talks about the downside of her career

TrendPK.com: Rihanna may be on top of the world with her career, but that doesn’t mean she always enjoys all aspects of it.

The singer recently revealed that the constant travel and loneliness is overwhelming at times, states Hollyscoop.

“I need an escape because this job is way too much anyway. It’s a pain in the ass coming home alone and after work to lie in a hotel bed with nobody to get you up unless it’s work related,” Rihanna said about the life her career has created for her.

Right now, she doesn’t really see the point of starting up a relationship when she knows she’ll have to end it soon after.

Britney Spears and Rihanna Team Up For a Remix

Britney Spears and Rihanna are the latest to team up for a remix. Then again they are currently two of the biggest pop stars in the world. They have done a remix of Rihanna’s latest hit single “S&M”.

Both Britney and Rihanna engaged in some Twitter teasing over the weekend. Rihanna began with Tweeting;

“I got a #SEXY collabo comin your way supa dupa soon!!!! OH YEAH!!! By popular demand….”

She followed her own Tweet with, “Its BRITNEY BITCH!!!!”

Britney responded with, “You’re such a tease! I like it, like it …” then with, “You think they’re ready Ri Ri?”

Britney has added her own voice to the chorus and she also offers up an all-new verse, in which she breathlessly moans about her own bad girl ways.

Apparently “Umbrella” was actually originally written for Britney Spears, but she turned it down! The song turned out to be Rihanna’s biggest single and one of (if not the) hottest song that year. If it’s true she’s clearly not holding any grudges.

Rihanna, a Mom in a Year?

Rihanna is now thinking about beginning a family together with her boyfriend, Matt Kemp, a Los Angeles Dodgers baseball player. However, she insists of putting her career on hold as soon as she becomes a mother. She just recently released her new album “Loud” in the top five on Wednesday. Although she admits that she is not yet pregnant, she says she might be a first-time mom in a year.

The pop star claimed that she can be a mother whenever it is right. It can be a year from now, or ten years from now. She says she still has a lot of things to accomplish before she gets kids. She will just know whenever the time is right. She also insisted that she can make a great mother unless her first child is a girl, since her daughter can be really rebellious. “She would be like a bundle of karma”, Rihanna said.

Rihanna is also thinking about where she would like to raise her family. She wants to go home to Barbados, but for her this might be a far dream. She surely can’t live that far with her kids because of her demanding schedule.

She has sold over 15 million albums and 45 million singles around the world. She made nine number-one singles on the Billboard Hot 100 since her first appearance on the chart on June 11, 2005. This is by far the greatest hits done by any artist during that span of time. As of July 23, 2010, Rihanna has sold approximately 5,563,000 album units in the US. But then, can Rihanna make a fantastic hit as a mom?

Lady Gaga, Katy Perry lead MTV Europe nominations

LONDON: Lady Gaga and Katy Perry go head-to-head at the MTV Europe Music Awards in November, with five nominations apiece.

The U.S. pop princesses are both shortlisted in four categories — best pop act, best song, best female act and best video. Completing the nominations for Lady Gaga is best live act and for Katy Perry “best world stage performance”.

Elsewhere in the nominations list, rapper Eminem has four nominations including best song, best male act, best hip hop and best video for his Rihanna collaboration “Love the Way You Lie”.

British stadium rockers Muse, along with Thirty Seconds to Mars, Linkin Park and Kings of Leon, find themselves up against “Prince of Darkness” Ozzy Osbourne in the best rock category.

Pop phenomenon Justin Bieber, Ke$ha, B.o.B, Plan B and Jason Derulo are nominated for best new act.

New Movie Thanks Maa

Story: Muncipalty Ghatkopar, a street kid in Mumbai, finds a two-month baby abandoned on the steps of a children’s home. He begins a hunt for the infant’s mother because he does not want him to grow up motherless like him. His friends, other street kids, help him in this towering mission.

Movie Review: It is important to point out one fact that might help you view Thanks Maa with a totally different perspective. Irfan Kamal’s film on slummy street kids was first screened at the International Film Festival at Goa in 2008. Which means, it was made before Slumdog Millionaire, the film that swept the world with its take on Indian kids who survive and succeed despite the mean streets of Mumbai.

But no, it did not have the backing of Hollywood, the roar of the Oscars, the international marketing blitzkrieg…hence it’s relative obscurity and its delay in the release which unfortunately, for no fault of its own, might just give it a has-been feel. But don’t let the strange marketing logic of unconventional Indian cinema beguile you, because Thanks Maa is a film that will make you cry and laugh, even as it fills you with admiration and warmth for the next decrepit kid you see on the red light, running nose et al.

What strikes you at the onset is the authenticity of the film. Having used a sterling cast of kids literally drawn from the underbelly of Mumbai, the film anchors their story too in the grime and dust of the megapolis that seems to be brimming over with jagged and broken souls. So, you have our heroes — the bunch of street kids — living off the local train stations, picking pockets, polishing shoes and sharing their booty on an abandoned terrace before retiring for the night at home: a dilapidated car in a junk yard.

It’s here that young Muncipalty (Shams) brings his foundling and tries to hide him from the tough cops with the help of his buddies, Dedh Shana, Cutting, Sursuri and Soda. His objective is to re-unite the baby with the mother who abandoned him. Indeed, a journey that takes him through the dregs of the city and has him meeting pimps, hookers, incestuous dads, adulterous husbands (Ranvir Shorey), drug addicts doubling over as cabbies (Sanjay Mishra), models who abandon illegitimate kids (Rukhsar), distraught mothers, paedophile caretakers (Alok Nath) of juvenile homes or what you will….All this without losing their basic goodness and innocence. For despite drawing out the devilish map of uncaring Mumbai, the director manages to retain the humaneness of the story by showcasing his protagonists as little heroes, standing up for the good and the right.

Watch out for the kids. They leave you spellbound with their guttural, gutsy act. Surprisingly, and thankfully, the Censor Board has displayed a sense of maturity too by letting them speak in hardcore street lingo (read abusive). The film, ostensibly inspired by Tsotsi, Gavin Hood’s film that won the Oscar, does get a bit long-winded in the second half and the climax might seem schmaltzy, but these are forgivable in view of the sledgehammer impact of the film. It fills you with a yearning to do something, anything….

Hollywood Siren Megan Fox Does Not Wearing Like Rihanna

Hollywood siren Megan Fox does not like wearing attention-seeking clothes while going out as she hates people recognising her.

The Transformers beauty, who is regarded as one of the world’s sexiest women insists she can’t don “interesting” outfits, Contactmusic reported.

“If you wear anything interesting, you become instantly noticeable. I have this gorgeous Dolce and Gabbana white trench coat for winter, but I can’t wear it without drawing attention to myself. And I try to hide. I want to be unseen,” Fox said.

The 23-year-old star admits that she is a big fan of singer of Rated-R superstar Rihanna but could not dare to dress-up like that.

“It would be nice to be like Rihanna and go to Burger King in six-inch heels and a mini-dress. It’s admirable. But I don’t have the motivation. I have lots of casual clothes and one side of my wardrobe is oddly grown up: pencil skirts and Prada turtlenecks for when, once in a while, I feel like going in that direction,” Fox said.

Rihanna Birthday, As Rihanna was on her album promo trail, she was out in Sydney where she spotted leaving a restaurant a few days ago. Liking the pink dress on her.

Also as Rihanna’s birthday approaches, according to news reports, her “friend” Matt Kemp plans to have a small private party for her. It was meant to be a surprised but Rih Rih caught on. He plans to make up for the cancelled carnival themed 21st celebration that was hosted by her label last yr after the huge public fall out with her and Chris.
